Perhaps perhaps perhaps. Perhaps some people just believe everything they see and hear from the TV.
Nope. Its staged.....
...... like so many other pre texts for war in the 20th and 21th century.
Its also illegal in some countries for anyone to provide links, view or watch these kinds of videos. I know here in the UK, Scotland Yard has said its illegal under the Terrorism Act 2006
He asked the Met which specific law made watching the video a crime, suggesting that no such criminal law exists in Britain.
Green posted on Twitter: "Some may say viewing video should be an offence; but it isn't, and @metpoliceuk should not publish false alarmist statements about the law".
He added that he had not seen the video in question "and would prefer if no one saw it" but that it is "not an offence to have viewed it".

Perhaps some people are just that paranoid that they refuse to see what it is plain and obvious.
Nope. Its staged.....
No, it wasn't - in some ways I'd wish it was.
...... like so many other pre texts for war in the 20th and 21th century.
Yes, I have no doubt, in fact I'm certain, there have been fabrications, mistruths, mis-directions, hoaxes and false flags perpetuated throughout the ages, probably including pretty damn recently, all with the intention of creating the atmosphere for war and conflict.....but this isn't one of them - not everything is a conspiracy.

From TV? did you see that the original OP was actually started a good time before any MSM carried the story? This news was all over Twitter and other Social Media sites long before MSM picked up on it.
Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps some people see a conspiracy in everything when in fact it is as it is.
What we should all be discussing is the threat that ISIS poses on the world, not the authenticity of a decapitation video, instead some ATS members want to continue to discuss the video being faked as there was no blood and gore.

I have just watched the video posted on the Reuters site. It is a very peculiar video that's for sure but could someone explain to me 2 things? the size of the knife was tiny which would mean hacking away for ages at the poor man's throat/neck whilst he no doubt screamed struggled etc....and unless that video was edited on Reuters, it showed a different man at the end of the video?

What I find sad, is how all the propaganda did it's job. Now it is, that we cannot tell the truth from a lie, so we call the truth a lie, and a lie the truth.
Just when there is an evil in this world that must be faced and dealt with head on... we fail to recognize it.

Would just like to point out one thing;

Scotland Yard said it might be illegal.
This view has been contested by several legal experts.

This is what happens when law enforcers believe they are legal experts.
The police should stick to enforcing the law and not interpreting the law - they are separate and require different skill sets.

At current moment we are ignoring the real threat, attempting not to see it, and running from it into the realm of fantasy - which makes the world a better place in our minds.

What you should be discussing is how clever these distractions work, while America is being turned into a full fledged Police State.

That's an issue for my American Cousins regarding the US as a Police State.

True. But our cousins seriously need to wake up and stop following the MSM's and elected officials reign of lies. How come the Police can get militarized in a city, but not at the borders? I am sorry for derailing! Didn't mean to.
I wouldnt have given them the pleasure, what could they have done to him,he knew he was going to die, most probably via beheading.

This thread is not about the Police state in the US, it is however about James Wright Foley being decapitated by ISIS in retaliation to US air Strikes.
Plenty of threads on ATS regarding the topic you wish to discuss.

LOL....I bet you wouldn't. Everyone is a bad ass warrior....on the internet.
Pretty sure they could do worse. Threats of crucifixion, in the desert, left to be eaten by buzzards after your stomach is opened and the contents exposed....yeah, sounds a LOT worse to me.
Oh, I guess this will more than likely get deleted since it seems to be "hip" here at ATS to censor the realities of this world. Can't even speak of the real horrors without being warned these days, but hey, it is what it is....
