Combat and civilian law enforcement are not the same.

could have fooled me and a lot of other people.
Look, if escalation of force is ok in a foreign land with their local civilians, why shouldn't American civilians enjoy the same treatment?

Because we use state and local laws as well as established case law on how it works in the us. Whatever your issue is with law enforcement I suggest you learn about it before attacking it because its evident your are off base with what you think and what the laws state.

In this case it was simple. The guy should have stopped his actions when ordered to do so by police.

Shifting blame does not work.

Posting for reference for later tonight.

I am Mike Brown
Vice News
Global Revolution News
Tim Pools Livestream
One I found earlier today, its the audio only stream of CNN TV (Windows Media)

Dude, thanks for that CNN audio link, hadn't found that and all CNN video streams require a cable-company login, totally useless to us poor folks, lol! I will add it to the stream thread tonight.

Off topic: If you download XBMC you can stream a multitude of content from movies, tv shows, and live tv via various addons...in particalur news...it probably won't do for tonight because you will want to take some time to get familiar with it and find the addons you want (some are officially hosted, others are not) from various repositories...but I thought I would mention for future reference

Just because it's law doesn't mean it's right.
we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one. I'm sure everyone else is tired of seeing us go around about it

Oh...I see, you think perhaps the old commie is actually a patriotic Tea Party member. Just trying to give the commies a black eye. Hmmm, no I don't think that's likely. He's a dirty commie.

Plenty of armchair generals but still no sign of the Molon Labe brigade. Maybe they've been picked up by the Feds en route, eh?

Good exposure of this Revolutionary Communist Party outfit.

The supporting Progressives are having trouble assembling a sensible rebuttal.

Stay alert for tangents and name calling and knee-jerky comments.

Who are they ?

Maybe "militia" groups that gets lamblasted, spit on, cursed and called every name under the Sun by jealous Progressives every time an issue is focused upon ?

But I bet they could actually assemble a good protest using toy armaments and remain peaceful.

The question is; where are the higher profile Progressive Groups ?

Fair enough

Let's all remember this sentiment tonight: FAIR ENOUGH!!!

I've said it a few times every night here for the past few days when good counter-points were made against my vodka-fueled ramblings, and it's worth remembering and reminding.

"Fair enough" is a sentiment that keeps your mind open to the "truth" (whatever that really means, lol) and keeps us all on the same side: Civility Of Intelligent Debate and The Truth In All Situations.

#WeAreAllATS and that makes us special, because we all somehow found this amazing site of sometimes-passionate-but-always-sincere research and debate of the facts.

In this video the RCP commie is asking the crowd, "How many of you kids have already got bodies on you?" I assume he's asking how many of you thugs have killed people. That's what my ears are hearing. In the comments section for this video is some very sound advice.

Rex Ryzuki 1 hour ago Let me be clear to the people of Ferguson and to all African Americans: The Communists are not your friends. In many countries, some of which you may find in your ancestry, the same type of people woo'd them with promises of prosperity and freedom from exploitation, and instead smashed all prosperity in their nation and ended the lives of ONE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE. These men and women in the Communist movement are not your allies, they are worse than your incumbent enemy. Do not suffer their presence, for as another Youtuber said, "The smell of rotting garbage only draws more flies." They will use your anger for their own gain, and more will come encouraged by your tepid acceptance. Find them in your crowds and chase them out, for they are godless killers dressed in the robes of good intentions.

I'm not a know-it-all, but I did get you the commie's name. It's Greg "Joey" Johnson of Chicago. Google that name and see what kind of worms come crawling out. Here's my source.

According to a website called the Missouri Torch, the man French is referring to is one Greg "Joey" Johnson, of Chicago. They have a variety of other images and videos of Johnson and assorted "commie" — their word — friends being shown around Ferguson. It's pretty plain they've identified him correctly. Johnson has been kicking around the paranoid end of American politics for some time. (To be utterly clear to any conservatives getting excited just reading this, that paranoid end is a 360 degree circle, really, comprising members of all stripes of political thought.) But he hasn't been wholly ineffective, as an activist. For one example: those of you who went to law school, might recognize him as the same Gregory Johnson who was the defendant in Texas v. Johnson, the case which held that flag-burning is a protected activity under the First Amendment.

Star, and right back at ya! [First day of school for my kindergartener daughter, three back-to-back autism appts for my 3-y-o son, and the prospect of any LEOs dealing with them in this manner scares the bajeebus out of me, especially if they decide to do reckless and stupid s#!t like some of these well-intentioned protesters have been doing (not the looters, violent or willfully-moronic people we have seen, but just the ones making on-the-spot rash decisions in one way or another as we are all apt to do from time to time.)]

I hope they would stand their ground in a more brave manner than some press we have seen, but I also hope they would make more rational and self-protecting decisions than some protesters we have seen.

[And avoid the vodka in most big decisions unlike I have done, lol, just like my Dad. (A Vietnam War hero, BTW, God bless his passed soul). Let's all earn Bronze Stars tonight in our own ways.
