Some of these reporters have reported from declared war zones and have not been put in this position or treated this way.
I knew that response was coming and this is not a declared war zone.
You're right----IT'S A CONSTITUTIONAL AMERICAN ZONE. Where freedom of the press reigns, hence the ENTIRE reason why there's "credentialed press" and then just us people reporting what we see. When you are credentialed, you get the right (and have the responsibility) to obey the law but get full-access unless it's "classified". Tonight was not classified. Give it up.

Thugs Attempt to Light Molotov Cocktails in Ferguson
No need to "walk" me through the thread because I've read the entire thread.
Well I think that I may have to, cause the evidence is right in front of your face. What, do you think that just because when the reporter was standing there with them and that they didn't get them lighted, that when he walked away, any other time during the night they did not? I mean, do you understand what a load of bs that is?
]As I posted earlier, Vice reporter just walked past a few of the building that the police apologists say were "burned to the ground"----pretty quick rebuilding going there I'd say.
I posted the video that showed the protestors putting the fire out, and Vice Media validating it, as well as Vice Media validating that someone threw a Molotov Cocktail at the Chop Suey Joint. Doesn't matter if other protestors put the fire out, others there supposedly peacefully protesting started it. That's my point.
Anyway, these issues are emotionally heated, and sometimes people get very passionate about them, and I understand that. I respect everyone's opinion here, and I still enjoy the discussion even if some of us disagree. Let's see what happens tonight. I hope nobody is harmed on either side. ~$heopleNation

Just because you have a press pass doesn't give you full reign. It's been ruled in the Supreme Court that the Media has no greater legal right of access to crime and disaster areas than does the general public.

Anyone know if what's currently on the Vice News feed is really live now? Kind of sounds like it was earlier, but it says 'Live.'

Yes, it does, so long as you are not obstructing LEO from doing their jobs or accessing classified material. ZERO reporters were obstructing justice by simply not turning the correct corner or shutting their cameras off tonight. ZERO reporters stood in the way of preventing or solving crimes. And if the SCOTUS ruled that reporters have no more "right" to report on and access the truth when just simply being in one place that doesn't block LEO from "protecting and serving", I would like to see the case, the quote that supports your claim, and then I'll be out there tonight with my own protests signs because that is unconstitutional.
Again, the ENTIRE reason to have "official press" and then "just the rest of us." Press knows how to NOT obstruct justice. THE ENTIRE POINT!!!!!
