Looks like the last of the live feeds are all back at the command/media post now.

Does anyone know if they're going to do another press conference or something?

Have you been listening to accounts for the past few days or do you get on for lolz? Citizens and Journalists have been saying that they are instructed to go left, they do, the LEOs then say "No - you were supposed to go right" and then they are detained and removed from the area. People of all walks of life report that there is not much you can do to avoid arrest.

Furthermore - Ferguson community leaders have said that happens all of the time.

FREEDOM OF THE PRESS, DUDE. THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO RISK THEIR LIVES AND DIE TO REPORT A STORY. NO LEGAL PRESS SHOULD EVER BE ORDERED TO NOT REPORT LEO ACTIONS. PERIOD.

Some of these reporters have reported from declared war zones and have not been put in this position or treated this way.

There was a BBQ store, that was reported to be on fire. That fire was started by police canisters, there are confirmed reports of this on twitter but also MSM. Wow MSM reports something with some truth .. I am shocked!

He doesn't have a right to be in an area after police asked them to leave MULTIPLE times. CNN is live right now, they're not arrested, are they? Because they did what was asked as a journalist who was granted that right. CNN is talking to Johnson as I type this, on the street. SO, that leads me to believe the Fox guy did something wrong, as all these other reporters left with no issue, or are still out there.

I'm going to chime in that this is the first night that I have seen that much patience, tolerance or even warning after watching what has been occurring in Ferguson for the last week. Tonight was hugely different then previous.

As far as journalists who have been arrested in the last week, I can type up a quick list:

Wesley Lowery, Ryan J. Reilly, Rob Crilly, Scott Olson (today--Getty), and Robert Klemko off the top of my head but there are a few more. That's over a few days.

What's going on here at the local Fox2 stream? It looks to me like they're gearing up for a press conference, but if it is, it could be hours away yet for all I know.

The guys at the Alex Jones and IAMB feeds are at the same place.

They had a news conference around 1am last night I think, and it looks like they're going to do it again.

You're right----IT'S A CONSTITUTIONAL AMERICAN ZONE. Where freedom of the press reigns, hence the ENTIRE reason why there's "credentialed press" and then just us people reporting what we see. When you are credentialed, you get the right (and have the responsibility) to obey the law but get full-access unless it's "classified". Tonight was not classified. Give it up.

I've not bashed anyone. We've asked questions - the same questions that many other citizens and journalists are asking. It's not bashing to ask question and expect civil rights to be upheld. LEOs don't get to act with immunity, they are held responsible for their actions/reactions just like citizens.

Totally, I hear that, that's why I'm not fighting that tonight protesters went nuts and overboard. But the press is the.most.important.thing.we.have in our country, and its freedom is VERY important, so when I see people criticizing the press for staying on-scene or not "leaving" because LEO told them to, I get mad. Because LEO has NO RIGHT to tell credentialed reporters to stop covering their actions.
