However, you seemed to conflate the intermixed clips (it is the media after all, they like to cloud issues) in the video of protestors and rioters/looters, so I could not list you as one who had fully watched the video, as it was not clear that you had.

I do not see how. It does not show any evidence of having watched the video. Instead, you remark about another incident entirely - an outrageous one where police basically murdered someone. It is somewhat aside from the pointed OP.

They claim that the cop in question is shouting, to rioters/looters, that they are animals - and challenging them to come at him. They justify an officer of the law inciting violence this way. The video disagrees with their assessment.

If one says the sky is green, and people look up immediately to see that the sky is blue, the person who claimed that the sky is green either didn't look at the sky or they are colorblind. Which is the more favorable assessment - that their eyesight is deficient, or that they didn't look up at the sky before claiming something that was not?

Yet, in response, you claim that I am a member of a particular group that you happen to disagree with, and so I must be biased or something. I have not taken sides here.

I laughed during the Rodney King riots, they burnt their city to the ground in Compton. It was so bad they burned their post office down and couldn't get their welfare checks. There were long lines in neighboring cities where they had to wait, I thought it was going to cause another riot. At the worst, logic would say you go and burn down another city not your own. Now they have no place to buy food, if they are afoot and have no services to speak of, you screwed your own pooch at that point. It was mayhem. The logic still escapes me today.

My post was about the riots in general and never referenced the video.
Before you say that my post was off topic, my post was about rioting, looting and demonstrations. That is related to the thread.

The video clearly shows a montage of clips from riots then protests then riots and people making speeches later when they show the police making his comments the reporter who is narrating the entire news piece says:

"Racial tensions, nerves on edge, even a officer we caught on camera, gave into his rage, calling protesters animals, Listen."


The video continued showing more montage of film clips of the events relating to the story.

Well lets not lump the actions of a few CRIMINALS who took advantage of a situation to well act like criminals.

PEACEFUL protesters got tear gassed and shot with rubber bullets and sound i think its call lrap or something .This was used in Iraq this is NOT acceptable to be used on peaceful protesters. Also media was targeted by these want to military police to stop filming ect. Also what about all the damage done by the police setting lawns on fire cause of their tear gas ect.
We have a right to protest the cops did not try to go after the looters they went after the non violent so who are the animals in this? There is a great thread with live feeds ect im sure most seen it.To who ever thinks this is ok to do against we the people u are part of the problem and why the police get away with what they do.

The however many number of people who actually are looting is A) NOT representative of the whole of the protesters, so anyone labeling all the protesters (as seems to be implied by many people in this thread as well as others) as looters is incorrectly labeling an entire group of people for the actions of a few (just as labeling All blacks, all Muslims, all Jews, etc as X), and B) are certainly using the situation to their own personal, selfish advantage. Period.

Looting has NOTHING to do with the issue at hand (the issue of Michael Brown or of the true concern and peaceful protests).

That some people take advantage of the situation for selfish reasons is sad, and that the cop made the statement shows his own personal feelings toward what's going on but also once again shows how the cops are NOT deescalating the situation but, whether intentionally or not, are fueling tension and further confrontation (by their actions and demeanor toward EVERYONE, including journalists).

One doesn't call a group a of protesters who aren't violent "animals" and one doesn't tell a group of looters to "Bring it, you F*&^$*#ing animals, bring it!" unless you're *looking* for a fight. That's simply unprofessional, instigating, macho crap looking for a confrontation.

The cop was provoking these people, and being very unprofessional. Sure he is only human.
But cops get special protection, and given their due process. They NEED to be held to a higher standard as they are the ones getting special treatment. Not the people.. It seems that Zimmerman types are joining the force, just to abuse their standing and hide behind the "shield". Make no mistake, Cops are the biggest GANG in the USA. There are some good cops out there, no doubt. But we only tend to hear about the bad ones.

Where was Mike Browns due process?
He was shot 6 times. 6 times! Brutal murder that goes FAR over the line. And now they are poking the very people that are standing up, and they are the animals? I don't think so.. NOT this time.

And now people are rising up against this lawlessness. And now folks are claiming, it is bad, they are lower than animals? What is wrong with some of you? That you will protect the very system that does not give a damn about you or your family. Very Matrix style in the sense you are acting like agents of the system, Blindly protecting something you have become so blinded by.

Another GREAT example of people, policing other people. But behind the comfort of their computers. How brave!
TPTB put in place a frame work. And we the people have managed to keep others in check, and in place. Every day people make this control possible. Without you, they have NO power.

And while I do not condone violence. I am very sympathetic too all that is happening there.
When a system has failed people over and over again, and when you are backed into a corner, what is left?
You take to the streets and RISE up. This is more than just riots, its a part of a revolution against the heavy hand of the militarized police brutality/mindset. They are geared up like military personnel, and not just here, but all over the USA. What are they getting ready for? And yet some still stand by their Masters, and all powerful State.

These cops are provoking, and inciting more violence. These PIGS I would guess have Agent provocateur within the protests as well. And now it seems I have some proof of Provocateur Agents working to make matter worse. Or to help paint the peaceful protestors as animals.

Total BS. I am ashamed of some of you.
Then again, it should be taken with the same grain of salt!

Mike Brown has NO criminal record, he was a peaceful and timid kid..Who was enrolled in school. He HAD no criminal background! Those of you who claim so, are simply wrong. Please check your sources, and look a bit deeper before you post. ( We all have posted to hasty from time to time, it happens.)

I have seen some bad things, and heard gun shots each night. I know all to well of these kinds of places. Yet would never broad brush stroke anyone, for the actions of a few knuckle heads.
I never did see color. What I did see, what Rich Vs Poor, and it has always been this way.
These poor area's are a direct manifestation of our whole "greed" system. And I could say so much more, but I won't.
