Wait!!!!

Do you mean to say that the civilians of Palestine blame Hamas rather than Israel?!?!?!?!

Maybe certain people should take a note from them, instead of forming BS opinions that Israel is to blame, when they are just defending their own country and people.....

The schools they attack, the hospitals..... Its all storage areas for weapons of Hamas. Civilians are warned by Israel to leave - it is Hamas that forces them to stay.....

Just saying.
I agree but then isreal must open the borders to let the innocents out. Thats the only part I have a problem with. The border should be open.

lol, because Israeli news sources are not bias and always tell the truth right?

The OP clearly states that this story was reported by Egyptian news sources.

If you check out Veto gates website there is no mention of it.

I can believe that the Gaza inmates are getting shell shocked enough to do anything.....they obviously cant stop the IDF,....so why not stop Hamas or at the least show their pique for the casualties....and the rubble...

If they were a legitimate terrorist group, Israel wouldn't only be concerned with backyard rockets.

The weapons you use really doesnt matter, thats irrelevant

That was not an answer to my question...........

Do you think that Hamas is a terrorist organization

2. Do you think Hamas has Palestines best interests at heart

I say good for the Palestinian people if this report is true. Its time they ousted these people who horde any aid they get from the outside world, and facilitate more death and destruction of the innocent civilian population.....

Again, I do not condone any of Israels actions in regards to killing of innocent people (I shouldnt have to continually qualify this statement, but for the interest of minimizing the name calling blowback I will).

But its high time time the Palestinians take Hamas to task for helping keep them in the squallor they are living in

I have often condemned HAMAS. And I have always condemned Israel.
Just because one sees the ignorance and evil of HAMAS doesn’t mean Israel IS ANY BETTER THAN THEM.

In this situation I have likened it to this analogy:
Israel is the beast

If the family heads throw stones at the beast, without protection, and the beast attacks, then it is not only the beast that is evil but also the family heads who entice the beast to attack without consideration of the welfare of the family.

The people of GAZA should be incensed at HAMAS
They should throw HAMAS out of power

But then the beast (Israel) still lingers.

What will then be their excuse, if HAMAS is taken out, for still building settlements and NOT getting a Palestinian state?

Why not ask Egypt why it doesn't open their border with the Gaza? Egypt has their gate closed. They don't want a freely open border with Hamas because they blame Hamas for what is happening right now. It's not just Israel that has closed the Gaza borders. Some of the Palestinian people may have realized that Hamas is doing them no favors and that could be why they attacked the Hamas spokesman.

As an ATS Staff Member, I will not moderate in threads such as this where I have participated as a member.

The tunnels constructed with steel and concrete (that could be used to build homes and hospitals) are a bit more difficult to explain.

Like I had said in other threads, if the Palestinians got rid of Hamas their chance for peace increases and if Israel does not honor the peace then the world will know who the true aggressors are.

Easy peesy.

Yeah...For example, imagine if Hamas was building a 30 million dollar underground tunnel network leading into Israeli territory...Oh wait...

Yeah...and instead of Israel taking more land and building walls, they should tear those walls down and allow all people of the land to go freely around Israel instead of damning them to a little strip of land and genociding them. Israel should stop bulldozing Palestinians homes and use some of those billions that US taxpayers give them to build schools FOR EVERYBODY. Instead of the iron dome there should be parks and soup kitchens FOR EVERYBODY. Not just a "JEWISH STATE".

The tunnels are used to launch terrorist attacks.
They aren't smuggling in cookies from Israel.

And then there is that thing about the closed border with Egypt. Damned Egyptian Zionists.
