Report: Hamas spokesperson attacked by Gaza civilians

Egyptian news report claims that Palestinians attacked Sami Abu Zuhri out of anger at Hamas for causing the latest round of violence with Israel.

Palestinian civilians attacked Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri and beat him near Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip recently, according to a report on the Egyptian website Veto Gate.

According to the site, Abu Zuhri's attackers were expressing anger at Hamas, placing blame on the terrorist organization for inciting the IDF's Operation Protective Edge in which nearly 2,000 Palestinians were killed and some 10,000 homes destroyed. The Egyptian report cited politician and spokesperson for the Sisi Supporters Front, Mohamed Abu Hamed, as saying that the Gaza Strip is ripe for a revolution to overthrow Hamas' rule over desperately impoverished Palestinians in the battered enclave.

I'm glad to see the Palestinians taking a stand against Hamas. If they could mobilize 10% or even 5% of the population, they could easily crush Hamas... I hope that Hamas cannot identify them and retaliate though, because we know what will happen in that case.

Don't know if this is true or a Mossad tactic to get Palestinians to attack Hamas for them.

Either way, Palestinians should be mad at Israel because now they live on a little strip of land, fenced in like animals, with no control over their ports or any way of getting in life saving supplies. They should also be wondering when the world will force Israel to at the very least go back to the 1967 borders. They should also find out when war crimes trials will start and when Israel government will be arrested.

The OP clearly states that this story was reported by Egyptian news sources.

I'm getting kind of tired of the, "It's Hamas!!! No it's Israel!!!" arguments.

Both are a terror to the poor innocents caught in this crossfire who desperately want the carnage to end but are too terrified to fight back against superior forces. The simple fact is, if some are beginning to fight back, it demonstrates just how bad it's really gotten. The people are finally getting so backed into a corner by this that they are striking back in any way that might stop the carnage.

I could pull up heaps of stories from Israel without using Hamas as a source once to show you how pathetic the mentality is of people in Israel and that includes their leaders. Where have I once used Hamas to prove a point? Find it for me.... Where have I said Hamas are my heroes? Off you go...
