Further proof you shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you. Oh well

Whether this image is real or not, it still depicts whats going on over there. All it needs now is some guys firing 99p slingshots at the Paveway, then it would sum up the situation even more

talk about good timing for the photo

Talk about perfect evidence for war crimes.

RIP innocent souls.

The bomb is at an angle. It is headed somewhere down the street, not at the corner filled with people. Judging by the Hamas flags and the barricaded road, I wouldnt be surprised to find there was a building being used by Hamas down the street. Don't worry though. It's still possible that Hamas was using a school or mosque, and you can bring up the war crimes angle again.

Yeah, it's heading for a house loaded with family members, dozens of which already had their previous homes bombed.

I don't see the conspiracy here, simply because there was more than one air strike on the house. The WSJ should describe the "knock" procedure the IDF uses to "warn" residents by hitting the house with a missile from a drone first and then following up with a bomb from an attack plane. This is why all those people are watching it from the street, because they knew it was coming.

Is there any evidence that Israel is actually bombing Hamas?

excellent question!

for a moment I thought you're joking but with so many dead civilians it may seem like when they kill Hamas fighters it's collateral damage.

Actually, you just illustrated collateral damage with your shrapnel analogy.

Collateral damage is to war crimes what manslaughter is to murder. The distinction lies with intent.

Not sure why, but a lot of people seem to think that sometime between the signing of the Geneva convention and the invention of the internet, war stopped being a horrific endeavor.

When Israel is using bombs loaded up with these then is intent is to get as much "collateral damage" as possible.

You just can't kill hundreds of civilians in order to eliminate one insurgent.
If you know you'll kill civilians with your bombs that's what you called 'intent'.

allot of kids and normal people trying to live there lives, did you notice the tires in the road like a make shift road block someone didnt want people going down there for some reason, seems they were right to keep people away.

a reply to: Flatcoat

Because Hamas knows where they shoot off and store their rockets and thus know where the retaliation will fall.

In reality, the family in the house (30+ people) were phoned by someone (the IDF) telling them that they have 5 minutes to evacuate the building before the bombing starts. The family started evacuating and telling others what was going on and the news spread quickly. The "picture" is actually a frame from the video that somebody took, knowing that it was going to happen in that direction just like everybody else on the street who was watching.

Beehive rounds don't go in bombs, they go in cannons and shoot out like a shotgun. No more nor less dangerous than the shot used in cannons. They and things like them have been around since the revolutionary war. Used for antipersonnel fighting.

Again...the way to understand this is to picture an innocent middle class family in any place in America. Heavily armed terrorists set up a missle launcher right out side this families house. The air force destroys the house and the family inside. Terrorists escape to do the same thing again.

This is what Israel is doing. We wouldn't do this in America. why do you guys support it in Israel and Palestine?

I would blow their brains out (or die trying) before the Air Force even got airborne saving them fuel and munitions.

I thought paveway bombs were designed for taking out runways and roads primarily - not just for general destruction or casualty.

They are laser guided though so whatever it landed on, they meant to to hit.

I guess a whole lot of you didn't bother to read the article that these images were posted on. That area was hit with 3 bombs. Hence why there are different pictures showing different street scenes, and similar looking bombs. It also mentioned that people didn't leave the area, because they know the drill. One bomb is a warning. One is to weaken the building. One bomb is to destroy the building. I'm sure by the 2nd bomb they know to block off the street for people's safety, and know where the next bomb will land.

Seems so obvious to me now that this land is teaming with tens of thousands of enemy combatants.

Look at them all in this image..!!

If genocidal elimination of Gaza was the aim, why bother to phone ahead?

Couldn't they maximize civilian casualties without the phone calls if that was the goal? For that matter why not strafe all the spectators?
