I could be wrong, but Turkey seems to be one of the few countries in this area that actually seems to consistently do good deeds, and tries to help others. Am I wrong?

The only thing turkey does, is to promote islam in eu and they have the vision of mega islam state (like EU) - ottoman, with turkey as a leader...

This will not end well. Israel will want to board and inspect the ship, claiming there are weapons on board, and here we go again 2010 reloaded at 10x intensity.

Yall do know that NATO will drop turkey like a hot rock if they start a fight with israel. Why? the US is the majority backer of NATO. Do you think they will give up that funding? No id expects turkey gets thrown under teh bus.

And I still disagree. NATO needs Turkey. They don't need Israel. There's more than 1 country(US) in NATO.

The flotilla, by declaring its intent to head to Gaza with supplies, set the stage for Israel to board / inspect the ships in international waters..
Israels position on supplies for Gaza allows for cargo ships with supplies bound for Gaza to dock at an Israeli port where it gets shipped into Gaza. Items capable of dual military use are scrutinized.
As for the port question for Gaza. The permanent one is on hold. They have created a makeshift "port" where smaller vessels have to go to the container vessel, off load supplies to the smaller vessel then to Gaza etc etc etc.

A cargo ship, may have inspections and navigators, but military ships, bypass all that, in all countries.
