I could be wrong, but Turkey seems to be one of the few countries in this area that actually seems to consistently do good deeds, and tries to help others. Am I wrong?

good on Turkey the people/prisoners in Gaza need a little bit of help. the innocent people that haven't done a thing to Israel deserve a safe hospital and maybe a safe ride out

This will not end well. Israel will want to board and inspect the ship, claiming there are weapons on board, and here we go again 2010 reloaded at 10x intensity.

BTW it will be at least a week or so before the "aid ship" gets there. It hasn't even left yet and preparations are being made, permits and such. They have issued a "notice of intent" or something to that effect.

Turkey really need to stop interfering here. They are stoking the flames and making an already bad situation even worse especially for the innocent isrealis and palestinians.

The international community should step in and stop Turkey asap.

It is totally irresponsible. We should come together as an international communtiy to sort out this mess, yet we have Turkey sticking their nose in just to win votes. Screw the palestinians and Isrealis, they just want the votes from their muslim population.

They have a general election coming up. If they agree to escort this floatilla (organised by the group that is known for sending weapons into syria). we can be sure it is for the election not for the palestinians.

The only thing turkey does, is to promote islam in eu and they have the vision of mega islam state (like EU) - ottoman, with turkey as a leader...

Turks, are racist ... they "hire" only Islamic and tursk for jobs, that they control. To the point where they ruin other's reputation and carreer.

Along with Yougoslavia (Kroats, Bosnians and Kosovans), and Ukranians along with Baltics, they are the biggest Mafia mob in Europe.

The flotilla, by declaring its intent to head to Gaza with supplies, set the stage for Israel to board / inspect the ships in international waters..

Israels position on supplies for Gaza allows for cargo ships with supplies bound for Gaza to dock at an Israeli port where it gets shipped into Gaza. Items capable of dual military use are scrutinized.

As for the port question for Gaza. The permanent one is on hold. They have created a makeshift "port" where smaller vessels have to go to the container vessel, off load supplies to the smaller vessel then to Gaza etc etc etc.

I didnt know that Turkey had nukes.

oh yeah, NATO!

Yall do know that NATO will drop turkey like a hot rock if they start a fight with israel. Why? the US is the majority backer of NATO. Do you think they will give up that funding? No id expects turkey gets thrown under teh bus.

I wonder if ISIS will be sent to Turkey in the next week or so...If so,then those who are saying ISIS are controlled by the west could look more credible.

And I still disagree. NATO needs Turkey. They don't need Israel. There's more than 1 country(US) in NATO.

and do you think they will peacefully allow Israel to board, do you think they will stop at an Israeli port for an inspection by Israel, given the current situation? I don't think they will.

A cargo ship, may have inspections and navigators, but military ships, bypass all that, in all countries. So its not a matter of relations, its a matter of national security, they cant allow israelis aboard the ships!

No kidding. I have a hard time believing a nation would let a foreign military board its military vessel for inspection. Might as well ask for silo locations and launch codes while your at it.
