Stop calling it the "knockout game" just call it what it is, assault with attempt to do harm. This whole branding of vicious attacks against random people(usually defenseless white people) is an attempt to justify something that is unjustifiable.

YouTube poster Bamafanatic12345 has dozens of videos, news stories, 911 recordings of black on white violence. If you're willing to do the research it becomes undeniable. Many of the 911 callers are black and they identify the victims as white and the attackers as black. Which goes to show that it's real and that many blacks are very much opposed to it.

On-topic: At this stage of the game I'd guess that it's too early for anyone to give a concrete statement of the motive behind this unless the guy has admitted it. So instead of speculation I'd stick to the facts as presented on the video. What you have here is a cowardly little cretin walking around a store with a lethal weapon (an obvious lapse in store security) and looking for someone to attack. The fact that he snuck up behind the woman clearly points out the obvious cowardice of the act. If you look at the video he takes a hell of a swing.

In my judgement this would be an attempted murder charge. He swung for the fences and hit someone in the back of the skull with a lethal weapon. I'd go for attempted murder with this guy. Hopefully put him away for 30 years or so.

He got caught in a crime of attempted murder. Yes, this is good though I doubt the young women will feel much better about that.

The reason he committed this crime is important, just as racially motivated lynchings of the KKK were important. Hate crimes like this exceed simple acts of violence and as long as we ignore the "hate" portion of these types of crimes they will continue.

I look at that video as being attempted murder. An aluminum bat to the back of an unsuspecting persons head has to qualify as attempted murder... This kid deserves to be put down.. I don't care how tough your life has been growing up. We are all given this little thing called a brain, which tells you right from wrong, apparently fools like this decide to ignore the part of your brain that says "Maybe, this isn't a good idea".....

I hate wishing bad things on people, but when I see folks acting like this I can only hope that Karma gets them back....

Idk I don't have the slightest interest in searching "knockout game" I've only seen it on the news twice the past few years that's what I'm going by. And this isn't a little kid punching someone. The point is that most news sources will not cover these cases. As in this case, they claim there is "no motive", and refuse to call it what it is, which is a racially motivated crime. Check the link I posted, and the tons of other links on the right of that page. This is a very real issue.

No, this girl did nothing to that punk. He was there looking for an easy white target, and he found one. All she did was stand there the "wrong color" for him. Why pretend race isn't an issue when it IS? Why claim that racism can ONLY be against non-whites? That assumption is, in and of itself, racist.

I agree with you; dead on accurate with all your posts on this topic.

All the denial in the world won't change the facts. This is an ongoing issue, and it's getting worse. Even in cases where race is stated to be the motivator, the police and courts and press won't call it what it is.

I don't know what's worse; that people refuse to see the facts, or that the "justice" system seems to condone these crimes, by refusing to treat them as they would equal crimes against any other race.

I don't think you watched the video... Their was about 3-4 white people around him before he hit her. And she could be mexican for all we know lol.... I've dealt with enough racism in real life to judge a video off racism UNLESS it's obvious. The video shows him walking around looking for HER. Not a random white person.... WNEW Annapolis Bureau Chief Karen Adams reports that Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is disgusted by the attacks and says they are not a game.
