Apparently Mr. Cheney doesn't realize that he is no longer relevant. The new "massive attack" will most likely be Cheney with a gun mistaking people's faces for squirrels.

While I don't want to necessarily agree with Dick Cheney, but it seems obvious and prudent to operate under the notion that the United States WILL suffer another large terrorist attack someday.

To believe that the U.S. is immune or somehow protected from that happening again would not be very wise.

He knows it will happen again because he was one of the perpetrators of 9/11. He lied about what time he arrived at the Pentagon on 9/11. He gave a stand down order when told that airplanes were in restricted airspace. The true masterminds don't live in a cave.

Charleston doesn't make any sense.

Maybe a couple of decades ago when we still had a naval base there (now all you have is the brig and a weapons station much further up the river in Goose Creek).

It is a commercial port, but hitting other places along the East Coast would make more sense: NYC, Boston, Philly, DC, Norfolk (major naval bases there), Jacksonville Fl (again, naval bases), Miami....all those make much more sense for a hit to happen there as far as the East Coast is concerned.

Hitting along the Gulf Coast would make more sense too (oil refineries).

Just remember, as far back as 1997 PNAC, the Project for the New American Century, laid out this agenda: regime change by force in Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Iran. Amazing, that we've achieved or working to achieve regime change in just those locales with the help of AQ, ISIS, Saudis, and Quatar.

So the east coast it is then. I can see that. However, I believe they will go ahead anyways and not worry about the guns. They know the only way to force the gun owners to hand them over would be to go after the family of the owners and that in turn would cause a major unity of the masses, they do not want that.

So we are back to plan A, take out their immediate enemies(my best guess would be Persians/Islam). Take em out, like the world has never seen. Then clamp down the rest of world because most, if not all will submit to might is right.

Then turn their full attention to occupying this world as if it was just conquered. The greedy vile creatures will exploit, kill, rape, pillage, the poor humans along side mother nature.

Humanity is the only thing that can stop this cycle of soulless chaos.

A particularly disturbing report which aired on ABC News on Tuesday night indicated that fighters in Syria and Yemen are arming themselves with non-metallic explosive devices which could evade detection. Those fighters, many of whom are Western and may even have access to American passports, may be preparing attacks on the United States.

You're not a sailor, are you? If you were you'd be factoring in the west winds.

Anyplace on the east coast is gonna be magnitudes LESS destructive than the west.

The only reason Tokyo didn't have to be evacuated after Fukushima is because it was upwind (westward) of the reactor explosion and melt downs.

Nuclear fallout on the east coast would be blown out to sea, just like it was in Fukushima.

If the intention of the perpetrators was to a LIMITED amount of damage, say just to incite enough panic to justify martial law they would choose an east coast target.

A west coast ground zero is what you'd choose for maximum casualties.

Saw him talking about this on hannity last night. Of course blaming Obama for it and for everything that is going on it iraq.
And saying the next attack will involve a nuke from some radical muslim/Islam group that snuggled it thru the border.
