Tell me about it. A few weeks ago, I decided to give my body a brake and only drink when I go out. This equates to once a week (usually on Saturdays). I find myself to be much more irritable if you can believe that to be possible for me. Perhaps it is the pot and a half of coffee per day that I switched to as a substitute.

i used to do some heavy drinking and smoking...
1 to 3 packs of cig a day... according to how good the day would go...my fav drinks were beer, vodka, rum, scotch... favorite "cocktails" were... "Black Russian" and Vodak w/ absynt.

i havent touch any of those for 4 years now, and i feel pretty healthy.

I don't smoke or drink or do drugs. I never have and I never will. I for one don't understand why people would, considering how harmful they are. Would you ingest arsenic or drink antifreeze? Probably not. Then why poison yourself with cigarettes or booze? A hundred years ago, people didn't know the effects of cigarettes. That excuse doesn't work now.

Both my grandfathers died as a direct result of smoking/drinking when they were young, as did one uncle, and another uncle is alive only because of brand new treatments keeping him going, I doubt he'll make another 5 years, and he's only in his fifties.

I use to smoke and drink allot when I was younger then I gave up drinking then I started back when I started getting into clubs. I still smoke once in a while and I rearly drink and if I do I drink the top shelf sh*t(no hangovers) its great I could drink a bottle of Grey Goose or Belvy and still get up the next morning feeling GREAT.

I've had a change of heart as of late.

I'm still smoking my cigarettes, but I don't see anything wrong with hitting the pipe occasionally.

Nothing harder than MJ, and I still don't drink.

Anyone toking it up really needs to follow the rules for responsible cannabis use... go here to read them.

Heh, I just gave up smoking cigs and drinking. And I'm feeling pretty good.

I have a few thick-headed friends who could truly benefit from reading that.....It's common sense to most of us, but some people just don't see the larger picture....

my advocation of use gets me into trouble sometimes- like it'd probably get me a stern warning or banned if i talked about it any more than i do on here- but it's up to the individual as to what they want to do with their lives, we can only offer advice.

alchol is a treat for me iv'e had a bad experience with it and only drink when i have money nd that isnt often!

No drugs, but I do enjoy a cold Natural Light and a cig. Ahh, the simple pleasures in life

I havnt had a beer or any alcohol in 6 days, guess i aint an alchie then.

I will drink a cocktail maybe once a year unless I'm in Hawaii.... then I have several a day. I never really had a desire to drink much, and never had a desire for any street drugs. I like being in control of myself.

Smoke? No.

Drink? Occassionally, but not very often. Usually only at parties or formal dinners. Tasty drink? Anything fruity... Manly drink? Rum and Coke. Not a big fan of the taste of alchohol, though a buddy of mine is a wine vendor, so I get some primo wines that are pretty good.

I drink, I drink alot..its so fun. I usually get smashed out of my mind every weekend.....too bad its illegal for a 16 year old to drink....well bottoms up:w:

Drink definately. I actually dont mind the smell of cigarettes, but I wont smoke. Beer on the other hand is great :w:. The other day I was playing beer pong! It was great. Then we played volleyball and had lots of beer, I was playing with one beer in my hand.

ALL HAIL BEER. LIQUOR IS A GOOD THING TOO.

I don't drink much anymore (much unlike even a couple of years ago), but when I do I like it to be the good stuff. Heineken over domestic, for example. Not to sound snobbish, but that's how I like it. Though Killian's Red can be great, so there are exceptions.

Cigarettes aren't my scene. Haven't had one since 1998, and I've had less than eight in my entire life. My bank account thanks me.

I hate smoking so much. Its so horrible, like the taste and anything.
