True! I never saw that vid before Syx posted it. (BAD SYX!) But I have to tell ya, we didn't rebel because of the taxes, since we adopted them almost immediately and the expanded upon them over the years. But it was rather that we are lazy with our grammar. Now thems' thar fightin' werds!

hello all...i am really not even sure why i am even here...i dont write stores or any like even close to it..i do hope every one is enjoying there summer...its ok here i guess...i just feel pretty bad any more about alot of things...why did i move from my home town..i dont even like it here..the only thing i do like is i see my grand daughter more now then what i was seeing her at...it was like every 3 or 4 months i got to see her..so i know it would really hurt her if we moved back...but hey my daughter and her boyfriend can move there with us and find a place..but i know that wont happen as he is a mama's boy..does what ever mama tells him..he wont leave his family but we had to leave ours..there are so many times i just want to walk home..but thats like 3 hours away so me walking it would take a few days..i miss my home so much its not even funny...and i dont think any thing it going to change this...so sick of this depression and not haing the meds or doc to get them..i feel like i am always left behind..sorry i just had to get this of my head..i know its nothing about the story..again sorry i am now done...hope every one has a great night....

This ring used to be my sisters, but her tastes changed, and it was far too badass to let her just put it in the charity shop. I had to have the actual ring part replaced, because the weight of the actual design was warping the old one. It was one of those one size fits all jobs, with the flexible metal used in the ring itself.

Well that is now made of solid silver. As for the design itself, I believe it is made of chrome coated copper, and features four skulls, hanging out around a cross. Heh, I have another ring featuring a cross on my left hand, and I like to say that it is always best to have a good right and left cross

It makes me chuckle anyway !

Good morning Family!
I'm just having my first coffee, and catching up...but I wanted to respond to CC's message.

CC,
I have twin daughters and a son. Only one of my girls lives in the same town as me...the other girl (and my son) live farther away.
Last weekend, my in-town daughter & her boyfriend drove me up to her sister's place, 3 hours north. They built a home there, and I had never visited...because I didn't think my back could take the 3-hour car drive.
For the whole weekend, I felt happy and healthy...staying under the same roof as my beloved daughters. I just didn't want to come back to my apartment...or my life here. I wanted to stay there forever.
Being separated from my kids (& grandson & 3 step-grandkids) is the most depressing thing that could happen to me.
They are my oxygen...my life force. I'm an empty shell without them.

I'm so very sorry that you are feeling depressed...sad. A lot of us are, and the beautiful people in this thread (& site) have helped me through some rough days.
Please feel free to write whatever you want or feel here. We support each other, through good times and bad.
You can send private messages....we can even chat on the phone, or over Skype...whatever you're comfortable with.

You and Syx are family now....and you have relatives all over the world, lol. Canada, England, Wales, Scotland, U.S...we are here for each other, and we are here for you too!

I know how sad I get, being away from the family that my whole life revolved around for so many years.

I've also relocated a couple of times...and know how hard it is to be living somewhere unfamiliar.

Life just seems to get harder and crappier as I get older.
I had such great expectations.
Never expected life-changing injuries...constant pain...poverty...and loneliness.

Writing here, and having you guys in my life...sparks my old sense of humour, and keeps me going.
I just don't want CC to feel alone. I don't want anyone to feel alone.

Now...how are you doing today?

You'd think that since being here since Last October, it would be better. But it's not. Best that came of it is like CC said. Being able to see one of our Daughters and Grandaughter more often. Should be enough, but alas......
You, and the others have helped me tremendously with making myself feel better, about a lot. That's why I had told her of you guys, and that She should join The Shed.
Back Home, I could make things somewhat better for Her. More resources for, whatever....... It used to be enough to help Her.

I'm ok so far today. Just tired and sore already. Thanx. And how You doin' my Northern Neighbor?

Same drill every morning...wake up feeling awful, and try to ride it out.
Come here to distract my mind, lol.

I didn't expect to feel like this for another 20 years, hehe.

A lot of us Sheddites have injuries/illnesses...but good grief! what we lack in physical finesse...we make up for with brilliance and wit!

I have decided to win the lottery, and share it out amongst my kids and my Shed-family.
I am now ready to receive...and I have a plan.
Just need the Universe to cooperate.
