Hi Hun.
Yah You guys, the first hospital that did the stitches did not take into account that the swelling of Her knee, would go down. It was Very largely swollen when CC went to them. They should have probably pulled the stitches way tighter than they did. And probably should have put in more than the ten or so that were there.
Then the stitches were removed after only like 7 days. Should have been in for 10 days at least, I have read.
So now the wound has NOT healed properly. The area of stitches is wide open, and 2 doctors have said to just let it heal, from the inside out. Now She will have a nice big scar on Her knee!! What a bunch of Bull S_!t!!!!!!

Syx, CC. It's too late. There will be a scar. I know this as I have them all over my body and yes, healing during that time frame is never nice. You must heal from the inside out...that's just the way it is.

And more bad news that I'm sure CC doesn't want to hear, but must. We are all getting older, day by day, and are healing slower than we used to. She doesn't have to like like it (none of us do), but she has to accept it. This is life after all.

More dark humor....

Be thankful we are not living in Sparta these days as most of us would have been tossed over a cliff by now.

hello all...well we have been back in crete since monday night early tuesday morning...i so wished i would have stayed in moline i so hate this place...i miss so so many people there its not even funny any more..the services for syxs sister was very nice...his poem was read and it was also printed out for others to have and read...he was told by a few people how nice it was..his sister will be missed dearly she was way to young to go..but she is now pain free..so we was about a half hour from getting to our trailer in crete when we got a call from syxs nephew..again more bad news..his nephew told us his step mom just passed away..man when will this stop..we seen her saturday she looked great didnt think any thing was wrong at all..now syxs ex brother in law not only lost his ex wife but also last year lost his dad and now his wife..so he is so lost i am sure..i dont know how she passed away or any thing about it yet..i so want to move back home so we can be around our family before its to late...i am going to lay down for a little while hope some of this pain goes away but i know it wont for a while...just wished i could bend my knee more and my thumb i have dishes to do and other things that need to get done..since i am the only one who can do them..i have to fold clothes as well....i hope every one has a great day...

Yah thank the Gods for that, eh? That we live here makes it a different way of life. People here just tease, and jeer the crippled and less fortunate citizens. I guess those kind of people have to do that to feel better about their own insecurities. That's how I see it anyway......

stitches were in for 14 days it happen on the sept 25 and got taken out on oct.9.just thought i would say that much...syx you have lost some time some where...

yes i so know we are all getting old..but i am still 35...lol..man i cant say that any more when i have a 32 year old son ..i dont like it and i know others dont either but its life we have to still go on..i accept all its just so scary for me..knowing my time will be here before i get my family tree done...but i do hope some one like my kids keep this going..they need to know about their family..family does mean so much to me...love you all dont let a day go by that you dont tell your family and friends how much you care about them you never know what tomorrow brings...take care all...

Yea, I know. I truly wish I could have had a family myself. But I don't let that stop me. I've always considered my Soldiers as my kids. Some one who you nurture and care for, even in a crappy environment. And I apply the same philosophy after I retired.

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

They don't call us Platoon Daddies for nothing...and yea, we don't coddle our kids.
