Most of these ridiculous, hyperbolic responses are very telling. They don't seem like things normal people without an agenda would write.

Yes, we all are part of the collective. resistance is futile.

How weak does your argument have to be when you must retort to "you're a paid shill" to offer any credibility at all to your ridiculous ideas?

Chemtrails exist because.......look up man!

LMFAO.

www.contrailscience.com...

I know you won't look at that site, but it's there for your education. Deny ignorance, don't swim in it.

Again, your hyperbole is telling.

That site was made by a guy named Mike West who admits that he is not a scientist or a meteorologist. He claims that it is just a hobby for him. Please don't refer to a site created by a joe schmoe when you're trying to claim scientific facts.

I haven't mentioned "paid shills." You brought that up. Hmmmm...

Excuse me, I simply asked a question, no hyperbole appears anywhere in my post. Will you answer it, or is your avoidance going to be "telling"?

I find that, generally speaking, hobbyists devote a lot of time to their hobby and develop a deep knowledge and understanding of it. He also invites corrections for any factual errors that may appear. If you don't want to contact the site editor, can you share those errors with us?

Contrails are caused by water vapour. Water vapour does not slowly spread over the entire sky and linger over a period of many hours.

Ok, why not? How does your belief that water vapour cannot spread and cover the sky allow for cloud formation?

Are you saying the contrails themselves are vaporous? Do you disagree that they are made of ice?

By the way this doesn't answer the question I asked in relation to your earlier post.

Water vapour is water in gas form caused either by being heated or freezing. Our atmosphere is obviously in part comprised of water vapour. While it is natural for water vapour to form clouds when condensed, these clouds do not evenly spread out, they act like normal clouds that take form based on any number of conditions.

So you're "arguing" that water vapour from planes evenly spreads out and lingers in the sky for hours?

GREAT! so you can easily spot any errors on that site so we can learn the "real truth" right?

See, lots of windbags have come and gone, whining like schoolgirls about that site, but when they are asked to point out any errors and back up their claims, we hear crickets.

I am just glad you are going to cowboy up to the challenge. I eagerly await your response!

I love reading posts made by the chemtrail deniers. Its like you guys have pre-written talking points.

You mean like all you have to do is look up?

Lets quote your next post to see what you say

I don't need videos as evidence. I just have to go outside many a day and look up. When there are trails in the sky with clear beginnings and ends and are evenly spaced out that is all of the evidence I need. I use facts and reason to form my world view. Chemtrails are real.

Brilliant absolutely brilliant, I'm a believer now, you use facts and reason and go outside and look up,

What else does one need?

I wouldn't be surprised if one person is posting under multiple user names.

Yes I cant believe that there are so many out there that are so lazy to learn and so willing to believe in something that scares them instead of learning about what scares them so the fear can reside or so their fears are proven.

An engine from a plane takes in air to mix with the fuel. Air is sometimes loaded with water in some form or another. Once the engine uses what it needs, it expels what it didn't use, and what comes out it very hot. So you have water vapor (invisible) that is hot, mixing with the same (or perhaps different, depending on the conditions) air, which is very cold (depending on the altitude, sometimes -60 or even -100 degrees) and it then freezes. It then forms clouds. Contrails are man made clouds.

Now, knowing all that, have you ever, in your life, saw a cloud that lasted for hours? I mean, you spend an inordinate amount of time looking up, so you must. Then you have to ask yourself this question. If a cloud can last for hours, and contrails are just man made clouds, then what is to stop a contrail from lasting hours?

It' simple, when the contrail is comprised of unicorn piss, it will become a chemtrail. Without the unicorn piss, it will be and always remain just a contrail.

And I typed all that without any agenda. Now, what is your agenda?

Why not?

Those pushing chem trails use YouTube as evidence so why cant some guys site be used?

Is there incorrect information you would like to point out that makes the site not worthy?

I'm not arguing anything. I already figured that you have no interest in what I might say. I'm trying to gain an understanding of what you know or think is correct.

You know I'm a skeptic, I don't need to advertise that. As a skeptic with a deep seated and long standing fascination with aviation, I don't understand why anyone believes in chemtrails. The first time I hear something plausible about them, I'll look at what I know to see if I need to re-evaluate my own position. Note, I'm talking about "sightings of chemtrails" as per your own post about regularly spaced lines, not the discussion in relation to GE or SRM which I don't disagree with, other than to say that I'm sure that the "chemtrail" sightings such as you have alluded to are not that. Do you believe because of a gap in your knowledge, or do I disbelieve because of a gap in mine? It's a valid question isn't it?

I am curious though, and I am asking for reasons of clarity, are you saying that every time the sky is overcast with a vast sheet of cloud, it had to come from aircraft? Because you did just say that clouds don't do that?

Also, if you appreciate that conditions locally affect how, or if, clouds appear is it such a leap that those same conditions will also have an effect on contrails?

If it's the same, then maybe it's because it's true? I don't know what the site says in relation to what I wrote, I was simply replying to you. Once again you post a reply that's dripping with attitude, If you are accusing me of something, say it plain.

Calling on some backup, eh? That is a great tactic. Have different (if indeed that is the case) people argue the same things to create the illusion of consensus.

It is the entire premise of the site that is wrong.

Unicorn piss? WTF?

I'm not afraid of chemtrails, I'm not sure where that accusation came from.

I see I'm wasting my time trying to have a discussion with you. Your response screams "direct questions! Deflect! Deflect!

So I'm off to watch the footy. Shame you couldn't have demonstrated something worth taking notice of.

Backup? Yea, I need some to battle your "logic".

Please elaborate on what you find wrong with that site.
I could use something like this as a source, but since it says the same things that Mick's site says, it must be lies too.

Oh and unicorn piss is the chemical used in chemtrails. Prove me wrong.

Edit to add:
You can have a moderator verify if there are any sock puppet accounts here, but he careful, a lot of the chemtrail nutters are people who have been banned before and came back with different accounts. You wouldn't be one of those would you?

Frankly, I'm also not very interested in engaging in a debate with people who are unable to use their senses or have no interest in finding out the truth.

Maybe somebody can "explain" why trails sometimes just completely stop forming and then start again. It's like there is an on/off switch. Oh wait...
