Frankly, I'm also not very interested in engaging in a debate with people who are unable to use their senses or have no interest in finding out the truth.

Maybe somebody can "explain" why trails are sometimes just completely stop forming and then start again. It's like there is an on/off switch. Oh wait...

Do you really want to know, or do you already have a firm opinion based on your calibrated eyeballs?

Contrails are clouds made from water vapor that condenses then freezes behind a plane engine. Since the engines are on constantly, it seems a bit odd when you see contrails with gaps in them, or even contrails that stop and start. If the engine is pumping out a constant amount of water, then why is the trail not constant? This puzzle is sometimes seized on by people who think that persistent contrails are actually “chemtrails”, or some kind of deliberate spraying operation.

But it’s actually very simply. The amount of water in the exhaust is pretty constant, but the amount of moisture in the air is not. The humidity varies with altitude, and a layer of low humidity can be sandwiched between two layers of high humidity. As a plane climbs or descends through this layer, then the trail will only form in the areas of high humidity, and so look like it was “switched off” in the area of low humidity.

Link to source that will be ignored.

Or you could bring whatever sources you have to explain it differently.

You never even tried yo have a conversation, as soon as I started asking questions you started insinuating my posts were not entirely my own. That is disgraceful and cowardly behaviour. As to your last point, that is one of the simplest things to explain. I'd have been happy to oblige.

hahaha Yes, you are correct. That source will be completely and absolutely ignored. What a bafflingly absurd explanation. It would make more sense if the trail slowly fades out and in, matching the conditions of the air.

You have just proved that site to be useless to anybody looking for reality based facts.

Super! so what is your scientific explanation?

And if you don't mind terribly, please explain what about the answer I gave was incorrect.

Thanks so much in advance!

How do know the conditions in the air gradually fade in and out? That sounds like an assumption. Have you only ever seen clouds whose edges gradually fade? Or have you ever seen clouds with a sharply defined edge to them?

All it proves is that you hold a belief built on assumptions. You tried to claim you use facts but you've failed to provide any.

I thought you were done with me and going to watch football.

Yes yes I'm a cowardly, disgraceful arse. These increasingly hostile and mean-spirited posts, which mostly contain personal attacks and ridiculous hyperbole are proof that I'm pressing some of your buttons.

I love how the reality deniers all sound the same and use the exact same tactics and arguments. You all rely on an unscientific site created by an admitted hobbyist to try to fool people into not believing the plethora of evidence that chemtrails exist. Admittedly you guys have the easier job. The whole idea of chemtrails is crazy. It is easy not to believe in their existence because most (including myself) don't want them to exist.

Honestly, I'm done with this thread. Chemtrails are not something that I really like to discuss online, I just wanted to see what would happen if I did engage in debate. The results are exactly as I suspected.

Well, you sure did a smashing job of discrediting the sources.

Good luck in your future debates. You are a real pro.

I did, but curiosity got the better of me. It finished 0-0.

Read the thread back. You introduced the hostility by casting aspersions rather than engaging in conversation.

True facts will sound pretty much the same, whoever writes them. Another way to look at it is that there is a consistency to the explanation you certainly haven't offered anything beyond basically saying "no it's not".

You all rely on an unscientific site created by an admitted hobbyist to try to fool people into not believing the plethora of evidence that chemtrails exist.

It's not reliance, it's merely a convenient reference. You keep saying its rubbish, but you seem unable to pick out anything specific. What evidence would you be referring to? All we've had from you is to believe you cos you say so. Not good enough.

Admittedly you guys have the easier job. The whole idea of chemtrails is crazy. It is easy not to believe in their existence because most (including myself) don't want them to exist.

What anyone wants is immaterial. There is nothing about chemtrails that stands up to scrutiny, that strongly suggests you are mistaken.

When did you engage in debate?? You ignored every avenue of discussion I tried to introduce and went straight into shill mode. You can pretend as much as you like, but so far, unaddressed by you are the questions about what facts tell you contrails cannot be regular (as claimed in your first post), why do you think atmospheric conditions can only change gradually, whether or not you really claimed that natural clouds cannot cover the sky, in fact every question posted. We never even started on the practicality of a plane being able to carry enough material to paint the sky from horizon to horizon and what kind of material other than water ice can spread out across the sky without visibly thinning.

Just keep your head stuck in the chemmy Kool aid dude.

Most of these ridiculous, hyperbolic responses are very telling.

And believing chemtrails exist is not ridiculous, especially when there is not one shred of credible evidence to prove they do exist?

So you're "arguing" that water vapour from planes evenly spreads out and lingers in the sky for hours?

Here you may want to look at this, as it will answer your question.

What's wrong with that, because it is just as believable as chemtrails existing.

Contrails are caused by water vapour. Water vapour does not slowly spread over the entire sky and linger over a period of many hours.

got any evidence of that?

Because I have some that says that the whole atmosphere is filled with water vapour at various concentrations - eg this one

Yep. And the bright silver planes that made these flew back and forth and up and down this particular morning.

Then this spreads and it stays "cloudy" all day.

And you used flight aware or some flight tracking software to verify that these were the same planes? Cool. That would constitute proof and we could start asking questions. Could you upload your findings here so we can all see what airlines were doing this spraying?

No, dude. I use my eyes. I sit and watch them fly back and forth and up and down.

How many different planes made the trails?

It's usually three.

Ok. Three planes usually and they fly back and forth, up and down. Spraying.

They remain within your view the whole time?

Is there any way you could record this activity?

I've never seen such a thing myself.

This sounds interesting, I too would be interested if you can gather some info for on here, have you used Flightradar 24 or similar to track the planes? This would also furnish some info like make, model, speed altitude, operator etc if they are civilian. If you haven't tried it before you may want to try it out on some other flights you can see to get the hang of it. Even if they don't show up on the app, that itself would be interesting to know. If you could also give a time and location that would be cool. Basically anything at all to illustrate what you see would be great.

If you are at all interested in truth, or facts, you could make a little effort go a long way. You could verify that indeed three planes are blanketing your sky and trying to kill you slowly, or...... you will find out that you were wrong, and there were several different planes that were just flying to their destination, and that in itself may make you feel more at ease with contrails.

Please let us know if you find what you claim. That would be something to make all the deniers take notice.

Been there, done that. I've been watching these since 2000. I'm not debating it. I know what I see. And that there is something to it. I just wanted to come say that your logic is incomplete and your counter-arguments are old.
