You are in for a treat. And I must say. I'm jealous. Other than testing.
I believe that no one here in the United States has seen a full demonstration yet. ( except maybe Zaphod ).
So enjoy it and do get photos and video!

I'm only lucky if I get to go
but I'm sure a lot of you have seen a f-22 .. I have yet to see one despite it being in the open for some time now

Hmmm........ Airplanes flying at an air show in an aircraft forum? I think your in the right place. I just wish they had more airshows around me I could go to!

lol I know I know I posted it here but I remember Zaph putting a mod note up about certain topics in the aviation forum that don't come under the ones ats has. Plus I is a bit simple I just like cover my rear end.

You are in the states how do not have more air shows lol

There's also talk about the Skorpion making its debut at RIATT or Farnborough.

Looks like I may be attending a few air shows this year. Along with two lancaster bombers putting on a show this year in the UK.

Forget the silly F35, two Lancs flying together?! That I would like to see

Yes i know this is definitely on the cards .. Even my dad wants to see this. Looks like I may have a busy summer.

Andy someone made a thread about the Lancasters www.abovetopsecret.com...

Consider it a fair trade off! I've never seen an F-35. Only a static display at the air museum.
I hope you get to go!

There should be more airshows near me. I'm in one of the largest aerospace hubs in the US (15 minute drive to the nearest Boeing plant) but only one good show per year(with a military theme anyway) on the other side of the state 5 hours from me and the Blue Angels over Lake Washington and that is it.
I haven't seen an F22 yet either.....

We're looking for an airshow to go to this year. Gonna hit an airshow and a con this year. The other half hasn't been to either, so we're gonna hit them and let her have some fun.

(my bet is on the B model though).

Damn I'm good.

Lockheed Martin confirms that the short take-off and vertical landing F-35B is the variant selected to support the two shows in the UK, where the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy plan to operate 138 of the aircraft.

www.flightglobal.com...

It's going to be three aircraft, two Marine, and one RAF flown by a British pilot.

I really do hope I go. I think the last decent show I went to was an air fete at mildenhall. After they stopped them I grew up a little and was introduced to partying and alcohol with a few added extras along the way. Plus I don't drive (I really need to) so it's difficult to get to places.

The way I see it though you lot in the states always get it better than us our air shows are like a warm up act compared with yours. Never the less fingers crossed and as I said if i do go I'll get some picys

Fairchild has an airshow once a year in WA, but probably can't compete with the bigger shows around the country.
The blue Angels are awesome to see fly low over head while standing on the I-90 floating bridge during Seattle's Sea Fair.
Boeing tour/museum at Paine field and Boeing Flight museum at Boing field are a must see if your travels bring you this way.

We're thinking about Offut. That gives us enough time they won't turn down our time off request, but is close enough that we don't have to wait forever.

I'm still planning a Boeing trip, I just don't know when.
