Been stuck in my head for a week now, it was played in the end of a season finale and though it was a perfect fit to end the show, it is bumming me out. Love Radiohead, always have but jeez, I need something else in my head, i'll keep trying I guess.

Take care, all. We're all in this together...

LOL ahhh the evil earworms! My teenage daughter gets frustrated at me because I keep telling her to turn her teeny bopper crap WAY down. She always says the same thing too. "But Mom you're singing along with it!" followed by my answer of "That's WHY I want you to turn it WAY down" There is nothing worse then having Taylor Swift's
"I knew you were trouble when you walked iiiiinnnnnnnn" (ugh vomit) stuck in your head for days, waking up to what equates to the sound of dying cats in my head in the middle of the night, just because my brain likes a catchy tune.

Although here lately I've had AC/DC's "Who Made Who" stuck in my head, thanks to Netflix having Maximum Overdrive on their list, one of the best cheesy 80's movies ever!

I am hopefulconfident that this thread willofferS "alternative" earworms....
sometimes a week or so will go by between posts, but yes, LOTS of us suffer this malady.

Speaks to the power of music, eh?

This morning, for whatever reason (and usually I can blame the radio or a movie or something, but not this time) I laid in bed from about 3am "listening" to:

Gha.
Love the song, but NOT. ALL. DAY. Thank you.

LOL!! Welcome to the thread!!

Hi BWS!

Just got to let you know that I"ve really enjoyed your thread. Have been on vacation for a couple of weeks in San Fran with my family to get away from the Texas heat and every morning with my coffee I would choose one of your never ending songs for our group coffee on. We've had some great moments dancing to them with lots of cool comments and yeah the songs do stick. Could've done without the disco songs though, lol. I'm an anti disco person from way back due to a grade required in gym and it had to be to the song, "Rubber Band Man". I had a really twisted gym teacher. . . .

Thanks for some fun moments,

STM

Very fun! I'm so glad that you told me.
Yeah, spending time with my daughter while she was at college, we'd hang out in her apartment, with the music on her PC while we got ready to go out...
fun times.
