But was there a script saying that the 2 that meet in the north...come together and bring peace.

10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
12 And the then horns which thous sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hours with the beast.

Russia and the US don't meet in the North.... Canada stretches further North than the US, including Alaska... Russia, and Canada are almost joined in the winter freezing of polar ice.

I have studied Nostradamus quite a lot. I believe you are referring to this:


Century II Quatrain 89

One day the two great masters will be friends,
Their great power will be seen increased:
The new land will be at its high peak,
To the bloody one the number recounted.


One thing to remember is that Nostradamus specified that his quatrains do not necessarily always contain 4 lines that have the same info related just to that specific quatrain. Sometimes the last line, or the last 2 lines, are connected to other quatrains, so that just the first two lines, or the first 3 lines of the quatrain are directly related to the quatrain in question...which can lead us too...


Century II Quatrain 91

At sunrise one will see a great fire,
Noise and light extending towards 'Aquilon':
Within the circle death and one will hear cries,
Through steel, fire, famine, death awaiting them.

and...

Century II Quatrain 95

The populous places will be uninhabitable:
Great discord to obtain fields:
Realms delivered to prudent incapable ones:
Then for the great brothers dissension and death.

and...

Century IV Quatrain 95

The realm left to two they will hold it very briefly,
Three years and seven months passed by they will make war:
The two vestals will rebel in opposition,
The victor is born on Americh soil.


Those all appear to be about USA and Russia. There is also this:


Century VIII Quatrain 15

Great exertions towards the North by a man-woman,
To vex Europe and almost all the Universe.
The two eclipses will be put into such a rout,
That they will reinforce life or death for the Hungarians.


That appears to be not only referring to Russia, "towards the North", but also perhaps to the blood moons of the current time, "the two eclipses." However, it also mentions Hungary.

I'm starting to realize that the Bible is multi-splendored in its interpretation. I think that books like Revelation are so powerful that they have many fulfillments. That's probably one.

I find it idiotic to try to paint Russia as evil empire. When US and NATO has killed directly and indirectly over 1 million people in the last 14 years.

Rev 17:11 is referring to the number of times the Holy Roman Empire has risen and fallen throughout history. There is one more rise to come.

Consider when the HRE was at its height, it encompassed most of Europe. The European Union, (the Beast) led by Germany, and backed by the Vatican (the false prophet) is soon to rise to superpower status once again. The EU will now quickly form itself into a political and military machine, forced to do so by the expansionism of Russia. Russia's move into the Ukraine has effectively thrown international law under the bus. So the new benchmark now is; take want you want if your strong enough. The EU now has no option but to take the next steps to form a strong deterrent to Russia.

The USA is effectively out of the game. It has abandoned Europe and the Middle East to their own devices.
Europe will militarise and at the invitation of Israel, will invade the Middle East to secure the safety of Israel (now effectively abandoned by the US) and also to secure its energy supplies, independent of Russia. This will bring a coalition of Russia and China (Daniel 11:44) against the EU forces, and WW3 will be upon us.

This is all getting very very close now.

Althought there are translational and cultural confusions about this text (The Revelation of Christ was originally written in the Greek of two thousand years ago), some better understanding is to be made by looking at other Hebrew apocalyptic material like the Book of Daniel (which, I believe, is referring to the same events and time periods.

In daniel, each of the Kings is referring to Kingdoms or Empires or political systems.

Classically, these Kingdoms are believed to be as follows:

The Kingdom of Bablyon (Gold)
The Kingdom of the Medes and Pesians (Silver)
the Kingdom of the Greeks (Bronze)
The Kingdom of Pagan Roman Empire (Iron)
... and then a new "Kingdom" (Iron mixed with Clay) which is believed to represent modern political systems like Ecumenical rule, Democracy, Socialism & Communism.

It is only recently that people have been led to believe in a person of anti-christ. Prior to that anti-christ was seen as a kingdom, political movement or "spirit of the age".

Actually, when he wrote the Apocalypse, St. John definitely had someone in mind for the role of anti-Christ : Nero. But here's the nice thing about Scripture : different levels of meaning. Coupled with a cyclic view of Time, this means many anti-Christs, culminating in a final Big Bad. Who, unfortunately for the evangelical crowd waiting for the Super Secret Return, probably will be neither Catholic or Pope.....

Err, no, this has nothing whatsoever has to do with the current situation in the Ukraine.

Creative interpretation of man-made prophecies written thousands of years ago - which in themselves were to do with contemporary, not future politics - have no relevance in today's political/military theatre.

You may as well believe this, just insert Valar as Russia, Feanor as Ukraine and Valinor as the UN:

"Tears unnumbered ye shall shed; and the Valar will fence Valinor against you, and shut you out, so that not even the echo of your lamentation shall pass over the mountains. The short Biblical answer is that the "7" in that passage are in sequence, not a simultaneous group.
From the standpoint of "now" in the book, the sixth one "is now" and the seventh "is to come, will remain only a short while".
So the situations do not match.

So the 'anti-christ' would more readily be identified as a social movement, Not necessarily just a move away from church, but a turning away from Christ. It's a body of people, that when they grow to out number the faithful in God (of any faith) ... they rise as a beast that permeates all nations/kingdoms....

Well I certainly believe in separation of church and state - however I don't agree that church (and I mean this all inclusively, whether your Christian, Buddhist, Pagan, Muslim or a pantheist like myself ) being separtated from other areas that deal with the psychology of the human soul/mind. Such as in medicine and psychology and education. Which is mandated by the STATE. This has taken over people lives and moved them away from self-exploration through reflection of ourselves and moved to medication, conditioning, and programing to attempt to correct our inner conflicts.

Today in society in the fields of medicine, psychology, academia - there is a great societal push, at least in America, to do away with self-exploration through religious beliefs and instead medicate and label and fall to science as the new way to structure your mind, your soul around.

The scriptures, leveled against what society shows as a collective right now, it makes me sad. We are moving in the wrong direction. I feel it in my bones. Is war, a sacrifice in blood, necessary - to cleanse away the very fallen? As Revelations fortells? Isn't there another way - without blood being spilled? Or are we so fragmented as a society, that war is a necessity of progression?

I think you may find out the al aqsa is not built on the spot the temple was built on.

You wont find any fulfillment of Tribulation/Age of Israel prophecy until the Church is finished and removed from earth. Instead, what we are witnessing are the preporatory actions for these coming events.
