I'd written a longer reply but it got lost in posting. Briefly, I don't buy that this is a cover-up simply because if it was, it was the most inept cover-up in the long history of cover-ups.

If you wanted to spirit away a plane and make it look like an accident, don't you think you would have your fake wreckage ready and waiting to drop it into the ocean within a few hours of the plane going missing, so you could make it look like a standard "crashed into the sea" case? What you wouldn't do is create a massive media circus and then finally produce some fake wreckage thousands of miles from where the plane was supposed to be, 12 days later!

Anyway, stepping away from the wild world of woo for a moment, am I looking at the same imagery of this island as other people? Because I see precisely zip there apart from trees and shadows!

The co-ordinates match but where is this "possible back half/body of aircraft"?
Lat -10.32'58.7" N
Long- 92.23'56.4" E

I don't think the wreckage was planted. I think when it's found it will be genuine. The problem for me is how all went down in the first place and, more frightening, what, politically, is going to come out of it all.

Well, it's good that you located the coastal section!
Can you zoom in closer? See how light (shallow) the water is hugging the coast? Well drag down about 1/2 to 2/3rds down that coastline . The planes image will be in a few shades darker blue (deeper water) but you will still have some coastline in view. I'd say maybe two mouseclicks east of the coastline.

Rather than giving such vague directions, can you please copy and paste the precise co-ordinates that show up here when you have the little crosshair over the plane? You're talking about the east coast but the only plane (a flying one!) that has been found is off the west coast. Please tell us where you are looking:

It would save a lot of hassle!

I have photos screenshot but can someone tell me how the heck to put them on here? They're already saved but how do you post them here?
The coordinates are there and accurate but I did mention that you have to scroll slowly and carefully.

Linda1mom

goto the same ' v ' symbol next to logout and click to draw up the same toolbar.

then click on 'upload'….. this opens a new page…

on here click the 'upload' button lefthandside - grey cloud with an arrow in it.

Then click 'select file' and find on your pc the correct image to upload. Then click on the cloud with an arrow in it and that will load the image from your pc to the ATS site.

When the image has loaded, a smaller version of it will appear and if you click on that, it will draw up three codes….

a BB code for the image,
a BB code for a thumbnail
a URL address………………….

I normally copy the first BB code and then 'Paste' that code into my post on the thread……….

hope that helps and makes sense..

I wish I were that computer saavy but I'm not. I have a dozen pictures that I can't even figure how to get on here. I was able to upload them to the sight but now what? Nothing is allowing me to post them. Any help would be appreciated.
The directions I gave were very precise. The coordinates have to be given a VERY small leeway, a tick or less.
The whire line in your shot is likely a piece or so of debris. This is near the plane portion. scroll slowly left, I believe.

note that this is not the exact coordinates you give, as i cannot find anything at those locations.

hmmm...one of the crazy theory that is going around is that MH370 was shadowing another plane. Could this pic be a test run of that attempt? or is it some sort of data corruption?

Here is the Australian ABC news site (government owned/run). It will likely report anything found first.
www.abc.net.au...

Here is the AMSA site which may give updates if it ever comes back online - crashed due to traffic for now.

Yup, that's the area I've been looking at. On the east coast. The coordinates are for the west of the island I think?

A lot of plane images captured by satellite imagery show this "double image". It's simply because the imagery is taken as a composite of two exposures, one after the other (notice the different resolutions - I believe, although I am not too sure of the technical details, that one captures the fine detail in monochrome and then the other captures the colour data at a lower resolution. Don't quote me on that though!)

Here's another example that is similar to the one seen here:

And here's an extreme example, where you can see there were actually separate exposures for the red, green and blue filters, and the plane had moved between each one.

Down below left (looks like a finger jutting out) and to the right, just within that groove. Not really far from the coast. Are is so dense with trees, though.
I have the photos on here under 'public'..but can't get them here bigger. very irritating.
