It's good to see that I'm not the only person on ATS that thinks this debris was more than likely planted.
I still maintane that this plane never crashed. Was never hijacked. I am still having a hard time believing it even existed at all.
But, I suppose time will tell......

Fire-Fighting Procedures:
Use self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing.
Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards:
Toxic gases (HF, PF6 ) will be formed if cells or battery are involved in a fire. Cells or battery may flame or leak potentially hazardous organic vapors if exposed to excessive heat, fire or over-voltage conditions. Damaged or opened cells or batteries may result in rapid heat and the release of flammable vapors.

Of course they can.
What you have to consider then is MOTIVE!
Hmmmm why would you ditch an aeroplane with 20 US military software designers on board.
Also on the plane were 20 senior staff from a US technology company who had just launched a new electronic warfare gadget for military radar systems in the days before the Boeing 777 went missing. Freescale Semiconductor, which makes powerful microchips for industries including defence, released the powerful new products to the American market on March 3.
Build a doomsday machine and kill the designers.

Maybe it was the Lithium Batteries all along.

Lithium Hexafluorophosphate
Possible battery fire knocking out electronics and releasing a toxic gas incapacitating everyone aboard. Fits a lot of different versions of the ghost/zombie-plane theory.

At least three aircraft were lost due to lithium battery fires on board, including a UPS flight that crashed and killed both pilots.
First of all, the so called pings are just empty rings that nobody knows where comes from and are guessing it might be from the plane
