I took a look at the airport in Karachi, Pakistan on Google Earth and was surprised to see there is an aircraft chop shop in operation along with a huge hangar building measuring 309' x 444'. Plenty big enough to conceal any model of the 777. Being that Pakistan allegedly harbored Osama bin Laden, they certainly should be suspected in this disappearance.

Wow that is some very strange S#$%!

Good find. Any more info on this "chop shop"? Is it commercial or military?

And you know this is a chop shop how ? Google earth provide this info from atop a building ? Its in Diego garcia afb or mcmurdo station.

Well....it's not a manufacturing plant and planes seem to go in but not come out. What would you suggest it is....an overnight parking lot like semi truckers use?

Looks like a small building housing smaller domestic civilian aircraft that's all.

A building that's 444' wide x 309' deep having a sliding door 256' wide is a small building? This question is for thetruth2014.

edit on 21-3-2014 by Mikeultra because: close up view

I wasn't looking at the scale or google earth lol the first user mentioned it being small I was taking his word for it...second google earth images are not live they can be 5 6 7 years old...for all you know that building may not even exist anymore

LOL...you think those are small civilian aircraft? Those are airliners....do you not see the size of the hangar? Now please compare the hangar size to the jet size. These planes would dwarf a small civilian jet. Guess those smaller planes that are next to the larger ones are just model airplanes because if what you are saying is correct then a person could not fit in those.

Ya because Karachi is a village hut and and just bypassed you know a million civilians that happen to live there...no one saw it lol

"Holy Crap!! Did you just see that airplane landing at that airport!!?? I've never seen anything like it!!"

Really?

That building is still there. It's owned by Pakistan International Airlines. Check out this link. Lots of photos. I don't know if one of the posters on this forum is right, but he commented that the bare metal plane in a few of the photos is a 777. I'm not saying it's MH370. It is possible MH370 landed there in the dark and was parked in the hangar. A quick paint job, new transponder, and it's all set for a jihadi flight. Compared with all the other theories, what makes that so unbelievable?

Along the lines of the current conversation (Malaysia flights into and out of Pakistan), I present the following:

KARACHI:
Malaysia Airlines on Monday ceased its operations from Pakistan – a decision that will affect a significant number of Pakistani students, tourists and business people who frequently travel to Malaysia and Australia through the airline.

Pack up: Malaysia Airlines calls it quits in Pakistan

But this wouldn't be enough to generate the hard feelings that would result in them wanting to take revenge, would it?

The Karachi Airport has quite a history with hijackings. It wasn't too hard for some madmen to get in past security.

Pan Am Flight 73 was a Pan American World Airways Boeing 747-121 and was hijacked by four armed men of the Abu Nidal Organisation on September 5, 1986 while having a stopover at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi. The four hijackers were dressed as Karachi airport security guards and were armed with assault rifles, pistols, grenades, and plastic explosive belts. They came in through a van that was made to look like an airport security vehicle.

Will MH370 be added to this list of Pakistan related hijackings? Only time will tell.

If the pilot had a lot of experience flying that route, he may be able to fly it under the radar himself or with a gun to his head. Just sayin.

I like the idea. Upset that Singapore Air abandoned them earlier, now Malaysian Air too. That broke the camels back! One thing that I noticed in that article was the Dubai-Karachi-Kuala Lumpur flight. That makes me think about the Maersk Alabama once again. Making trips between Kenya and The United Arab Emirates.

If the cost of flights on Pakistan International Airlines has gone way up from lack of competition, it's possible some crazy Pakistani hijackers are seeking vengeance.

Just adding the latest puppy bone that the media keeps tossing. The Telegraph (UK) says they have a transcript of Flight 370's last hour. The Malaysians had it from the get-go but refused to share it. 54 minutes, from take off until the plane vanished. Apologies if this has already been covered.
