Looks to me there simply killing armed terrorists. Its a shame all those chechens and Russians getting hurt and killed maybe they should stay on there side of the border. Im sure if they stayed in Russia the Ukrainian military would leave them alone. I noticed there trying to keep an escape corridor open to Russia. As im watching this i dont think there new president is going to stand for anything other than removing all outside influence since he knows Russia cant invade at this point. I posted earlier hes even talking about getting back Crimea i guess he has a plan.Giving about two more months there military will be equal to Russia in skill. Than wait should get intersting Putin creating a hostile government that manufacturers arms right on his border. Ill be surprised if Putin spends another year in office at this point. Lets hope the next Russian president isnt insane.

Russia has recognized the government of Kiev as being legitimate.
The "elections" held in the South and East are illegal.
Segments have taken up arms against the legitimate government in Kiev.
The Kiev government in turn is protecting its citizens in the region from Pro Russian forces who overthrew the elected governments in the South / East regions and replaced them with Russian puppets.
Russia might have more believability with their faked protests / fake outrage if they weren't so hypocritical about Syria, Ukraine and NATO.
All that's left now is for Putin to continue to hope the Russian people don't start asking questions of his actions.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is enjoying almost unprecedented job-approval ratings in his country.
And the only reason for this popularity surge, sociologists say, is Russia's tough stance on Ukraine.
"A fierce anti-Ukrainian campaign was launched," says leading sociologist Lev Gudkov, the head of Russia's independent Levada polling center. "Authorities have used the language of war, the language of the 'fight against fascism,' of mass consolidation and unification."
Despite Western anger at Russia's role in fomenting separatist unrest in Ukraine – including its dramatic annexation of Crimea -- Moscow's crusade against what it portrays as a neo-Nazi threat emanating from Kyiv is paying off at home.
According to a survey published last week by the Levada Center, a staggering 83 percent of Russians approve Putin's performance as president.
We stand ready to intensify targeted sanctions and to consider significant additional restrictive measures to impose further costs on Russia should events so require," the G7 said in a statement after evening talks in Brussels.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Western powers would check "again and again" to verify that Russia was doing what it could to stabilise the situation, which erupted in March after Russia seized Crimea from Ukraine and annexed it.
"We cannot afford a further destabilisation in Ukraine," Merkel told reporters.

Looks like Russia has a huge problem with Crimea as i look in to it. The areas infrastructure needs to be built and they are totally dependent on Ukraine. The expenses are going to be far more than the Russian economy can support. seems like they didnt think this through very well.

Funny enough Ukraine is taking Russia to court over Crimea.
They have estimated Crimea and all lost assets are valued at 90 Billion dollars US 1.3 trillion their currency. A long shot sure but interesting just the same.

Military experts say it will take several months to put the Dozor APC into serial production. Poland earlier purchased a license from Ukraine to make these combat vehicles operational in the Polish army.

all volunteers, ex military personnel willing to fight against Kiev fascists terrorising local people who do not want to be a part of that state. Same for you, prove they are regular forces of Russian Army.
And I cannot prove there are NATO forces mixed with Kiev's army either.
After months of obfuscation, Russia's direct involvement in eastern Ukraine is becoming visible. And last week, it became clearer than ever that Russian and Chechen mercenaries are supporting the separatists in Donetsk, fighting side-by-side with Ukrainians against troops sent by Kiev. At first, the presence of Russian fighters was but a rumor, but then, last Thursday, a column of vehicles carrying 34 coffins draped with red cloth left Donetsk heading for the border. Two-thirds of the some 50 rebels who died in heavy fighting 10 days ago were Russian citizens.
Some of the fighters in Donetsk openly told journalists that they came "on the orders of Kadyrov." The Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov would only say on his Instagram page: "If any Chechen has been seen in the conflict zone, that's his personal business."

twisting things again?
Yes Russians are talking. Talking about Putin's stand on Ukraine which has lifted his overall approval up to 83%.
You were saying in your original post that Ukraine and his stand on it might bring some decrease in his popularity.
And no Russian people have not been mislead. They know very well who is behind all of this. Cookie lady and the gang. And they know very well how much of good they wish to Russia and Russian people.

Sorry no US direct involvement in Ukraine you were lied to by Russian propaganda. There is zero evidence to support that claim other than Putin says so. Do to the fact Putin has been caught several times lying as well as Russian news agencies theres no credibility left for me to even believe him.
See Putin needed to create a conflict with the west so he could look like hes standing up to them. Truth is he created the conflict to lie to Russians and sucker them to complete his dream of reuniting the old soviet pack. Sad Part is its never going to happen and hes destroying the Russian economy chasing a dream.
