picture says more than a thousand words.

Only for those who are to indoctrinated to exercise independent thought. Its why they resort to pictures instead of intelligent and logical counters to the position presented by using those pesky little things called facts. Plus the pictures are more easily understood by those who like to be told what to think instead if learning and making their own decisions. I usually refer to them as Putinites but you can refer to them however you wish.

Now that we are past the sarcasm the best way to prove a point is to actually make an argument using facts to support the position and not pictures.

Try again please and could you possibly take it to one of the other threads so you and the others don't continue to derail his update thread with issues that you have beaten to death ten times over now in the last few months?

This just gets better and better

Government of Russia ‏@GovernmentRF · 13s
#Medvedev: Ukraine's economy is in a very grave condition. Due to political factors, many people are not receiving social benefits

Since people in Crimea have not received the promised increases in pay / retirement I don't think Medvedev should be talking to Ukraine about economic issues. Even more so since they are the ones who caused them inside Ukraine.

Care to supply the links to where you obtained all the info you posted, pictures and all please? As well as any links discussing those fliers being used in Egypt and Ukraine.

I find it interesting that as Ukraine fights back, that post pops up...

I'm actually more of a pop-up blocker.

Here is a link to all the Egyptian pamphlets in arabic.

Here it is in Ukraine:

The strategic goals are interesting did you read it sounds like the playbook being used. The problem is with the internet material like that is readily available. The question is who would be distributing it and why?

An NGO shell company for spooks to foment unrest in countries that wish to change the political landscape in. What else?

You mean like "self defense forces"?

Basically, but I don't think Russia should Fricker in the Ukraine nor more than NATO/West. This tug-o-war is disgusting and shows no bounds.

The difference here is I generally look at this for what it is because my government doesn't represent me. It represents itself and the few who are privileged to partake from the spoils of its waring. Most if not all nations behave this way therefore I don't support the Russian government or any NATO government. I support the people of Ukraine and pray they can find freedom from all sides. Sadly, however, this won't be the case.....

I did..

Where?

It's very simple. It's called specifics. Save your tiping skills for later.
Either you're going to provide an ACTUAL PARAGRAPH to back up your position that a coup is a legitimate act by Ukrainian constitution or you don't. There really isn't a third option.

Where?

If you failed to read the posts in the threads specifically dealing with Ukraine that's your problem not mine. Go look.

As I stated in my response when I explained what my posts entailed to resolve your confused view on what a coup is and how its carried out. Which I noticed you still refuse to address the Crimea coup portion.

Save your tiping skills for later.

My "tiping" skills, usually 15%-20%, are just fine, as are my typing skills.

OR you can actually go to the threads where we discussed the topic ad nauseam and actually read and learn, which is your only option left because i'm not going to assist in derailing this thread because you are incapable of reading another thread.

Do you have anything ON TOPIC?

Looks like the capturing of the base is enough for today. Turchinov did promise a phased operation and it was reported that the airbase was the preliminary part of the operation, like a prepation.

Interesting to see how the numbers of pro-Russian protesters will behave, upward or downward.

I am glad to see the phased portion. Maybe just showing up with the military and taking some of the key infrastructure will be enough to show the pro Russians as well as Ukrainians that the situation is being taken seriously by the Ukraine government, that they are intent on restoring order as well as securing their territorial integrity.

The other possibility is the Pro Russian forces called for help from Russia and it never came.

Hopefully the actions today are enough to settle things down.

The Ukrainian government just seem to be throwing the towel in. Well done for taking the airport back but what about the rest of the occupied buildings and land? If this happened in the UK or US (which it wouldn't) those pro-Russian jokers would have been out on their ear within a few minutes. If Ukraine can't show they mean business then no one will help them.

Why yes, thanks for asking.

When are you going to provide me with ACTUAL PARAGRAPH in Ukrainian constitution where it says that a coup is a legitimate act?

Every constitution is consisted of articles and paragraphs which are the foundations for law principles.
What you only need to do is to find that article and paragraph where it says about a coup, and I'll gladly offer my apologies for being stuborn.
And there's this other posibillity where you can say that there're no such paragraphs which describes term 'coup'.
Simple, don't you think?

Well they did talk about the operation coming in phases..

The speculation was to show they are serious about their territory and resolving the situation while at the same time trying to allow pro Russian defenders to make the correct decision instead of armed resistance. It also was done that way to prevent a reaction by Russia.

Only after Russia complained to the UN did things slow down some.

ETA And what is posted below works to

I posted earlier a link to Dimitry Tymchuk's facebook page where he states that the entire operation is a phased one, with the taking of the airport being just a preliminary phase to the actual operation.

some of the posters were talking about RT making up the story of CIA director visiting Ukraine over the weekend.

just to make that clear.

The White House on Monday warned that Russia would face more "costs" for its interventions in Ukraine and confirmed that the director of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, John Brennan, was in Kiev over the weekend.

Yup covered about 10 pages back and I commented on it. I also noted that the only thing confirmed was his visit and not what the substance of that visit entailed. I also noted Russian media also stated they cannot confirm the purpose of the visit and the speculation reported on him giving the "go ahead" to Ukraine cant be confirmed.

Thank you for the reminder.

Pro-Russian protesters at Kramatorsk airfield.

Former Lenta.ru journalist Ilya Azar reports on the crowd gathered outside the Kramatorsk airbase following the attempted storming earlier by separatist forces. There are about 150 local people at the airport in Kramatorsk, many drunk, they are mocking and swearing at the 8 Ukrainian spetsnaz who are visible through the fence. The drunks crawled over to the soldiers, who are shooting in the air, and then they talked without shooting. The drunks could not explain coherently what they were talking about and how it went.
