One of the important factors when looking at these events is to look for responses from people who are paid by the very Governments to sway your view.

Look up 'shills' and you will find proof that they exist right here on ATS.

These people often have shared accounts, that is an account that is used by two 'agents', one shift after another.

One interesting thing is that these people do not get terribly much sleep. Just look at the posters replies to posts and check how much sleep they get. What you should find for two agents sharing an account, is a tiny allocation for sleep, or sometimes - no allocation for sleep.

Finding these shills is important since it will tell you what their Governments are afraid of.

It is also very entertaining.

Tensions between Russia and Ukraine rose higher on Friday as casualties mounted from clashes between pro- and anti-Russian protesters in Donetsk and the Russian foreign ministry suggested it could intervene to protect lives.

Well the writing appears to be on the wall. I was hoping that things would blow over, but they won't.

I believe sometime after the referendum, Russian troops and armor will roll into Eastern Ukraine.

US warns American travelers in Russia, and border region ahead of Crimea vote:

The US State Department warned American citizens on Friday of possible military clashes along the Russian-Ukrainian border and potential anti-American activities in Russia as Crimea prepares to vote on Sunday on whether to join Russia. In a "travel alert," the State Department said it had no information of military conflict inside Russia as a result of regional tensions or of any threat specific to US citizens.

Yes, you are hilarious!!!

Thank you for agreeing with me!

This demonstrates one of the prime tactics used by shills. Reply to sarcasm in this manner.

Shills are not here to sway those that that clearly see the truth.

They are here to sway the casual reader. By having their posts all over the thread and seeing other people agree with them the casual reader may be impressed and fooled into thinking that many agree with the shill. They will also turn your posts around through a 180 and once again, thank you for agreeing with them.

It can get confusing until you isolate their posts and watch the fun. They also tend to work in pairs when the subject is critical to their Government or Big business.

Remember it is all aimed at the masses, not at ATS's largely awakened members.

Has anybody got any ideas on any speculative time frames in light of events unfolding?

Or after the Ref Sunday and reaction Monday?

Or before maybe?

Sanctions/Reactions

What do you think the inputs/outputs maybe

think its worth considering?

Just to broaden our understanding and enable new searching topics refining updates on thread

Thoughts?

Just a thought

Hello, I am Shill Agent ID # 369

You're right. We are here to slant views on ATS and other forums.

Our only weakness is for posters to stay on topic of the thread thus thwarting our efforts.

Godspeed and good luck!

If i were to guess and i was planning an invasion id wait until after the referendum. Makes it look like im trying to be a humanitarian. Then after the vote i would have my people attack some crimeans and blame it on Ukrainian military and there we go a 2 for one deal. But thats only if you cared about public opinion i think Putin mat be beyond that at this point. I mean really does it matter. Look at the options hes left with he doesnt take Ukraine than Ukraine runs to NATO then next thing you know hes got NATO bases at his front door. Not to mention the CIA would have the ability to send people into Russia and his people arent happy already imagine what they can stir up. And his economy will be ruined either way because i know by now his dream of a eruroasian pact is over. Russia is screwed financially so the scary part is the west is really leaving him nothing to lose at this point. The only way out of this is if they are willing to make sure Ukraine never joins the EU or Nato but even that relationship is gone now with Ukraine. So the only thing that will stop him is he just decides its wrong which is unlikely, Or the west figures out a way to integrate Russia into the world economy asap. Also unlikely because Putin doesnt want that.

I agree that the russian protesters think they can get away with these barbaric acts . who's there to help out them . Russia has troops lined up if Ukraine so much as lifts a finger against them . PURE BULLY TACTICS!
I would really like a us eu nato show of arms to least lessen that Russian troop influence.

Actually it is because the odd part is it isnt Russias fault or the West that the events happened. Ukraine politics caused it to happen i mean really is anyone surprised a Ukrainian president was stealing money and taking bribes? Then making promises he never intended to keep. What Russia is responsible for is what they did about it. Putin painted himself in a corner by using the military option. See bottom line he could have played this as a savior much like Syria offered the new government support sent aids to help and totally stole a victory from the EU. Unfortunately he's not a politician and thinks like a KGB enforcer..

Correct on all accounts. I wonder if china can pressure Russia to back down ? Unlikely but a possibility.

Because this could easily go nuclear n even china wouldn't want that. Putin backing down now will be a seem a huge ego bruise to him , if it starts he's going to go to the end . All or nothing a.k.a nuclear .

This is it. If the people of Crimea return blank ballots, it means that Crimea still considers itself part of Ukraine. If that happens, NATO will be justified in sinking the Russian Black Sea Fleet at harbor. Good luck cleaning that mess up.

Justified ? when was the last time NATO needed Justification to massacre,Rape ,pillage and loot . They do it anyway just because they can . Don't think NATO needs justification for anything . There hasn't been a single Death in Crimea while same cannot be said about US allies themselves , killing Pakistani soldiers, bombing Afgan soldiers , bombing Marriage convoys and not to mention getting away with pretty much anything...
