Great news about the leg

We're ticking along. Mrs C has been going to fat club and has lost about 35 pounds, she is looking amazing but working too hard as am I, but it's for a better future together

ATS is still my obsession and my bolt hole to relax and have a laugh, create some art etc.

My sis has been through the wringer big time, had about 7 procedures in 2 weeks and we damn near lost her to blood poisoning one night.

So all is normal in Codyland

It's not so much if anyone is in hospital as to whom LOL

Well these shoulders are strong and this spirit pretty damn unbreakable.

I could use a holiday but that will come with time when everyone else is safe and well.

I'm thinking a small tour of the USA with Mrs C and hopefully meet a couple of ATS friends at the same time

Time will tell but the hope is there

I'm ok...but tears started falling out of my eyes... I just feel hurt by a friend I guess...

Anyway.. I've been working so that's good and keeps me busy. My lil guy is great. He means the world to me and he's been lettin me cuddle with him...but I call it cuggle... It's a snuggle mixed with cuddle.

My knee is so much better. I can finally dance!! It does hurt when it's about to rain tho so that's no fun but oh well. I can deal

My 16 year old, last night, told me that he doesn't like me calling him "baby boy". But i can't help it. When he looks at me, and I look UP into those brown eyes...i see my baby.

It's a freedom I can't begin to explain, I posted in the shed this morning that I was riding to work, but in my mind I was riding a dragon.

I love pushing the limits and to be honest the beast has the better of me so far and I've been riding for 31 years, but I will tame her.

I knew the gig would eventually be up. But i really don't like it. I know he is becoming his own man....but i really don't like it one bit.

I have another child, but he is my stepson. While i love him immeasurably, and have made him feel a fathers love for the last 20+ years...that connection to my only progeny....

I had an uncle that would call his 25 year old son honey and I thought that was the weirdest thing.

Yeah the little gits have a habit of growing up,

My daughter starts her national service this year in the I.D.F.
She may not be talking to me but man, it was only a couple of weeks ago she was a little girl that wouldn't leave my side and couldn't sleep without daddy sitting by her bed reading or singing to her.

My son is the same age as yours, and whilst I haven't been there for him in a physical sense he know's I'm only ever a skype call away, he has a wicked sense of humour, but the boy is rapidly becoming a man and whilst I'm very proud of him, I don't like it,
He called me up a while ago to tell me he and his girlfriend had split up.

I was gutted, I remember my first love and the pain it caused me, I was ready to give sage advice and be there for him, I said how gutted I was for him.

The reply ?....................It's OK dad I've got another one lined up

I nearly split my sides laughing, the little tart.

I think they'll all be OK BFFT yours and mine, they've got good grounding and that we should be proud of............................................Still.........Doesn't mean we have to like it.

Friends can hurt without realizing. I got to go hang out and talk with her and everything is fine.

BBFT- I call my son bubba ... I guess that's a southern thang ..I see someone else calls their son bubba too!! baby boy..that's sweet. My boy is about to be 9... So I'm really trying to enjoy every moment with him.. I've been taking more breaks from here and it's helped me and my boys relationship for sure in a great way

Yes mate life's looking up. Takes some getting used to having freedom. I know it silly but i have always kept busy. I helped raise my niece of no blood relation since she was born. She is now at college, Then i had my son and did most of the work with him. So now its like....Wth do i do lol...

Hah! Hey doc! You just reminded me of last week.. My boy was staying at my dads for a few days since he was on spring break and I had to work. So my step mom watched him...anyways.. While he was gone for a few days.. I was thinking to myself..what am I supposed to do without my boy?? .. It was like I was lost. It was def weird and comical.
