so last weekend i bought 2 copies of a 2 year old version of Madden (NFL Football) for the xbox. 1 for the boy, 1 for me. A good way for us to play football together, and i spent only about $20 total on both games.

Night before last i finally had time to put the game in to play. My whole life i have been prodigious at video football, so had warned him to practice up and get a head start on me. So i was anxious to see how he played after almost a week practice (its no fun beating the hell out of him at anything, despite how badly he clowns me on Call of Duty). Imagine my disgust when my cdrom on the xbox failed to work.

I have had that xbox for about 3 years, but have played hardly anything on it through the dvdrom. I use it mostly for netflix, and spent a ton of time playing minecraft on it (a DLC game).

So i bought a "refurbished" one to put in the bedroom. The "broken" xbox is now just a netflix box, so it may end up in the living room. Im not sure yet. But tonight, i am making tandoori chicken and kicking the holy hell outta littlefatfurrytexan (don't tell him i called him that ). I should make him give me HIS xbox. He has one of the new black ones, with the big hard drive.

I'm not gamer by any stretch of the imagination unless it involves driving, my nephew in South Africa is big time into gaming, he challenged me to several games and whooped my butt big time, then we went onto F1, the look on his face when I lapped him was priceless.

I was up at 3:30, just couldn't sleep, we just finished a big contract and where I should relax, I'm running the next one through my mind, plus it was the start of the F1 season today and I was all excited about the rugby, it all hinges on the match that is being played as I type. If France win England get the title if Ireland win they get it. I'm pretty torn here.

Slow cooked shin of beef tonight in a wine sauce for us it's smelling amazing You got me all excited about the tandoori then I'm so tired I can't think straight lol

Gotta get back to the rugby my friend

Thanks Syx as the previous post shows I was up at very stupid o'clock, but I got loads done and got to watch all the F1 live including 3rd practice.

I'm a tad tired right now but the second wind should kick in soon.

I haven't played any of those Video Games.. though last year was the first year i watched Football, well American Football.. my half brother is obsessed.. but to be Honest Eric Decker was what really persuaded me!

The wife is looking mighty fine and working too hard gerlfriend, the Beast has been out a few times this year and blown away the winter cobwebs, my sis is finally back home from hospital................for how long who knows ?

Hey everybody! Still alive and kicking but still sans internet.
