From another forum, I thought I'd throw this out here to get expert input:

What I remember:

>The flag of the Soviet Union never had a star on it; it was just hammer and sickle in the upper left, on a solid red cloth
>New Zealand was to the North and East of Australia
>Papua New Guinea was much smaller than shown on current maps, and North and West of Australia
>The car Kennedy was shot in only had two rows of seats; and in the front passenger seat was (hazy on this ...) the Governor of TX who got shot in the hand
>Now people are reporting that "Haas" avocados are now being labelled "Hass" avocados

All of this I've experienced in only the last few months.
The Kennedy one is really freaking me out; the Soviet flag thing I just read about this morning and that too.

Watch the video. Which flag do they raise at 01:17 with or without a star? - www.abovetopsecret.com...

Since when did the fog lights on cars come on when turning ? Defo alternate timeline stuff 🤯 I brought a car a couple of years ago when I turned left the left hand side light turns on…. turn right and the right turns on, I thought the wiring was glitching but I see loads of cars do it now.

The one that has bothered me is "froot loops". I cannot recall having seen it spelled "froot" in the old days. Did someone jack the timeline with too-clever-by-half technology?

Cheers

You may be correct.

Things I clearly remember happening are no longer searchable in search engines.

Ooops, that's censorship not the Mandela effect. Sorry.

That said, I hope to the big guy in the sky that it is in effect,
and I move to a timeline where the US is prosperous, the economy solid,
climate change and diversity politics does not drive every single
political decision regardless of the consequences,
and politicians don't encourage division and hate,
and cancel culture and the loony Squad who control the Democratic Party are gone.

I'll start paying attention.

Yesterday milk at Walmart was over $3 a gallon and I could swear just a short time ago it was closer to $1.50 a gallon at Walmart.
Hmmmmm.

Discuss? What's to discuss. If folk are anything like me, memory has all to often strayed from a reality that was not well focused upon when it happened.

More good examples of deliberately (or inadvertently) induced false memories

Although the NZ one was on ATS years ago.

Some folk are not like you and dismissing mandela effect as faulty memory has got to be one of the weakest arguments I've EVER seen.

Oh,come on now Imitator, give it up, Commanders is a great name. Washington? Washington where the bosses of government work? The Commanders? What a great choice.

It's much better than other choices they may have made. In line with the nature of the ball which has often been called a ''pigskin''. They might have gone with Washington PIgskins.......

You call it a ''weak argument''? Who's arguing here Misterjaden? Not me, just discussing as the OP requested.
However, as you seem to think that this is an argument, let's argue for a moment. What are our options to argue over? Let's see.

There are two possibilities and only two as I can see. One is that memory can be faulty. That's pretty straight forward as arguments go I think. I'm pretty sure there have been plenty of studies for decades on just how faulty memory can be, though for the sake of this ''argument I don't think we need to dredge up a list of them. Maybe later if this gets really heated.

The other possibility is that reality shifts behind our backs and changes from what we remember it to have been. Not on a large scale like remembering Anna Hitler or ''The Nina the Pinta and the Saint Peter''. Just small things like a color on a flag and stuff.

So no, for now, I'll stick with the first option, faulty memory.

Edit to add.

Holy Crappus Batman.....it just happened to me. History shifted behind my back. I have firm memory of seeing your posts here before.. I even remember reading your name in this thread as ''Misterjaden''. Yet there is is factual proof that Mandala Effect is real. Your handle now is ''Masterjaden''. OMG, it just happened. Or are you messing with me and went and changed it from Mister to Master??

I'm telling you J. You used to be Misterjaden, it just changed behind your back and you don't even know it, that's how Mandala Effect works, changes history and we don't even recognize it.

Yeah, I"ll stick with faulty memory, that is unless you have a ''stronger argument''.....
