Hello...
I was going through some older threads on "Ancient Alien Theory" and came across a few posts of mine with some rather interesting comparisons. I
thought I'd dust them off and present them here for your enjoyment. Now for the record I'm a believer in "ET". I'm not saying they built "Pyramids" or
showed us how to split the Atom etc [They could have helped us by jump starting civilization but so far there is no direct evidence] However, I
believe that from time to time they may have visited us in our past.
While many threads discuss the topic by focusing on Giant Blocks of stone and post comments "We couldn't do it today" Yadda Yadda Blah Blah Blah. I
say we could have and most likely did build those Giant monuments with simple Blood Sweat and Tears.

The real question is why? Oftentimes to supposedly honor a "god" of some sort or other divine deity but which god? This thread will not focus on Giant
stone monuments [There are plenty of those already] but on the tales and stories we have in our collective histories from around the world.
I took some heat in my fairly recent thread I wrote
How they Built the Great Pyramid of
Egypt because I excluded the "Ancient Alien" angle. What many didn't realize is that I dont agree 100% with the accepted stance that it was a
tomb or how many years it took to build or even a concrete stance on when it was built.
All too often other cultures and their history get overshadowed by Egypt or the Mesopotamian/Sumerians etc. The peoples of the New world were pretty
sophisticated as well. All have tales and stories of Dragons, Amphibians and or Reptilians etc. I believe they are much older than the accepted
dates.

This thread will focus on the many similarities between a wide verity of cultures, civilizations and across time all seemingly saying a very similar
story...
Some in the modern world seem to have fixated on the possible "
Grey" alien, if there were Ancient Aliens then why do most talk about
"Amphibian" or "Reptilian" beings? Maybe, just maybe we have been looking in the wrong areas. It is said that life here on Earth began in our oceans.
Could another advanced race have evolved on a similar aquatic planet?
It seems more likely and plausible that if they spotted Earth with it's vast oceans they would be drawn here because of them. Finding not intelligent
Amphibian or Reptilian life but Mammalian..."us".
Enjoy.

Dagon the Fish-God
Painted Illustration of Dagon in Ancient Times
Dagon was the god of the Philistines. This image shows that the idol was represented in the combination of both man and fish. The name "Dagon" is
derived from "dag" which means "fish."
FUXI
The Chinese have maintained that their civilization was founded by
amphibious beings that had a man's head and a fish tail. The entity, named
Fuxi, has been depicted as both male or female. The date traditionally ascribed to him is 3322 B.C. In Chinese mythology, Fu Xi or Fu Hsi was the
first of the mythical Three Sovereigns of ancient China. He is a culture hero reputed to be the inventor of writing, fishing, and trapping.

Kind of reminds me of the
Dogon story of their
"Amphibian" god. It gets repeated all over
the world.
The Dogons believe that in ancient times, an aquatic culture came to them from out of the sky. Human looking beings, acting as saviors and
spiritual guardians, landed close to their village in a space ship described to have 3 triangular legs. Being that they were amphibious, upon
landing, they filled a reservoir of water onto the land. Exiting their ship was done by diving into this reservoir.
How strange and frightening this must have been to the Dogon of this time! After the initial arrival, the Dogons realized that much like our
amphibious creatures today, the NOMMOS were able to adapt to both environments, thus although their primary home would be water, they were still able
to walk , talk and live on land. Another thing that was so amazing about these star people was in the fact they had shapeshifting abilities. Whether
it was done by mersmerization or not is unknown to me.

Now if we look at some of the Olmec, Mayan and Aztec art we find other similarities. Mythic Olmec figure riding on Quetzalcoatle "Dragon", sculpture
from the ancient Olmec site of La Venta (Mexico). Olmecs are considered to be the oldest Meso American Culture.

Notice what the figure has in his hand lets take a look now at this one. Here we have a figure from the other "cradle of civilization"

The next few images are of a tale regarding a "Strange Visitor" who washed ashore. To me it appears that her legs are covered in what could be a
representation of fish/reptilian scales...

Here are some more amphibian gods

I found these few years ago on a web page that was auctioning these ancient Olmec figure of "
Amphibians". They belong in a museum not hidden
away in some private collection IMO

I don't know what the deal was with those, They look like they could be amphibians or dragons they have tails etc. Now here are a couple of
interesting figurines. Both are from Ancient Olmec finds.
This next one I cant imagine what they were trying to
describe.

To the Babylonians, Draco was Tiamat, a dragon killed by the sun god in the creation of the world. To the Greeks, Draco guarded the Golden Apples of

And whats the deal with Sobek?
Another Reptilian/Amphibian god?
[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/121cc9e1853f.jpg[/atsimg]
Sobek? Egyptian creation myths, it was Sobek who first came out of the waters of chaos to create the
world.[1] As a creator god, he was occasionally linked with the sun god Ra.[1]
More about the Dogon
[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/359adfca9439.jpg[/atsimg]
The Nommo are ancestral spirits (sometimes referred to as deities) worshipped by the Dogon tribe of
Mali, Africa. The word Nommos is derived from a Dogon word meaning, 'to make one drink'. The Nommos are usually described as amphibious,
hermaphroditic, fish-like creatures.
Folk art depictions of the Nommos show creatures with humanoid upper torsos, legs/feet, and a fish-like lower torso and tail. The Nommos are also
referred to as Masters of the Water, the Monitors, and "the Teachers" That last bit there reminded me of the "Watchers" from the book of Enoch...
Well there you have it. A quick comparison. I hope you found it as interesting as I do. This leaves us with more questions than answers. But, that's
what makes this mystery so tantalizing.
