Just because you crossed the finish line 1st does not mean the people monitoring all the checkpoints along the race erred because they never saw you at any of the checkpoints and you were video'd crossing the finish line in front and awarded the gold medal.

Funilly enough I used to be paid to run half marathons, muddy races/OCR events and worked for the company Tough Guy races with a load of ex special forces who couldn't adjust to cilvillian life - never done a marathon but done several 20 mile-ers and dozens of half marathons.


The slide at the finish is called 'Viagra falls' as the electric wires are designed to hit your crotch with enough volts to stun a cow (wives and husbands love it and always wrote to thank us the day after the event and a third of racers end up in an ambulance with hypothermia.

It doesn't really apply as I'm not from the US and don't support the Dems. I said prior to the election that if I was American I'd vote for Trump as the Dems had no policies, Biden clearly has dementia or a brain injury and Trump was far more adept to get the economy growing again after lockdown.
