True story: Back when he had the anti-virus software co. McAfee and accociates, in the late 80s, when customers called McAfee's help line, John would often take calls and b.s. with customers.

John McAfee, the founder of antivirus company McAfee, has been found dead in a Spanish prison, reports say.

He reportedly died by suicide on Wednesday afternoon in a prison cell, just hours after a decision by the Spanish High Court authorizing his extradition to the United States on charges of tax evasion.

Jail employees tried to revive the 75-year-old Mr McAfee but were unsuccessful, according to a statement from the Spanish Justice Department cited by Spanish newspaper El Mundo.

I watched a documentary about him a couple years ago...

What an eye-opener. The man lived life to the fullest. He did whatever he wanted whenever he wanted.
He was accused of shooting his neighbours dog during filming because it wouldnt stop barking early in the morning.
Or was that the neighbour he shot dead? Cant remember

He lived in Belize and had a run in with a local crime crew.
He also had an unhealthy sexual fetish which im not gonna mention here.

Exactly. McAfee has been sitting in a Spanish prison since October. If this was a hit, why not do it in the intervening 8 months? The fact that it happened the same day McAfee learned he was out of Get Out of Jail free cards is very telling.
