I need your help with two images

Someone asked if the co-ordinates 417/333 could be a thread number, well you can check it out by typing it into the address bar so:

But it just comes up 'Sorry you are not permitted to view this forum'.

So probably a dead end.

When you view these files or 'pieces' individually, do any of them have numbers written on them? Ideally do they have a number on each 'piece'?
I can't check as I only have the assembled picture.

I have the reassembled document still in it's layered version with all layers bearing the original .gif name. If anyone has somewhere to upload them to I could put them up.

I have a .png copy for Fireworks and a .psd for Photoshop.

What format is the PNG file Jak? My computer doesn't recognise it?
How big is the Paintshop file btw?

The .png file is 235kb. It should be recognised by graphic software. Photoshop can recognise it but doesn't display the layers.

The .psd file is 1.09 MB

It was posted some time ago by HA that the right ideas have been already posted here. Maybe we should work on the posts in this thread without exluding any. The right idea might on the same time sound as the most ridiculous. Sorry, if this is too obvious for posting. Also primitive text/picture steg should be checked (at least in the posts of people connected to the game).

Hmm I seached a bit about the messages we got and found this page of ppl talking about Cryptographever. I'm afraid the messages we found may be a trick. Coz some other people got the same mssges from the program.

Looking at that page and looking at the thing itself, briefly, it seems to me it could find any message in anything practically. I don't think it really looks for a proper pattern as such. It's only 1 step away from finding 'messages' in a random bunch of letters. If you pick them out at random it's impossible NOT to get anything... If you see what I mean.........

I was wondering about this so I've just this minute finished running a number of notepad opened images through it.

I recieved a fair few answers the same. Also I got "I need guns" from AgentSmiths Avatar, something about birds from Kinglizards, and "I am good" from mine (which I also got from another pic).

I made my Avatar myself and there is no hidden message as far as I'm concerned.

I'ts just an open source decipher. You could test it by typing a paragraph of gibberish
and see what the results are.
