What's going on at Yellowstone part 2

Woke up here at 3am to finds this.

We got alittle something going on NNE of West Yellowstone.

The largest being a 3.2. 10.6km
earthquake.usgs.gov...


Hoping TA will pop in and let us know if he has been watching this.

Oh yeah, been watching it since it began. Given this little swarm's location and the quake magnitudes, it would appear to be more of either a tectonic based, or hydrothermal based swarm. It is located near extensions of the Hebgen Lake fault. The magnitudes and character of the seismicity don't appear to reflect any kind of magma movement. But that is just my opinion. On spectro it does not appear to be very threatening looking. Is why I just let it slide without posting on it. But yes, I'm on it, at least while I'm not at work, that is.

i see this has not been updated, i see that i will do it myself ha.

so after waking up an hour ago, i checked the usgs because my friend sent me a link saying that mt baker had erupted.before realizing it was a joke. and not a good joke at that.

anyway, the mini swarm is still going on with a mag 4 being the largest quake. to date..
