Oh dear, like a wet wash day up there is it?

Today has not been too bad. We have only just seen the first sight of heavy cloud in the last twenty minutes here, so trade has not been to shabby. I did a little off site job earlier on, and myself and my colleague will be doing another one in not very long from now, although I really hope it is not a particularly extensive job, because I am getting to the point where the benefits of a couch and a cup of hot tea are becoming all the more apparent to me, as the seconds tick by!

Ye cannie beat a guid cuppa tea lad!
Especially if the experience is shared with someone special or interesting (or preferably BOTH!).

Here are my latest thoughts...

Gordi had long since sat his trusty guitar down on it's stand, looked up at the party revelers as they started to disperse, took a long hard swig from his bottle of ice-cold beer, and wandered leisurely down the hallway and thru' the kitchen towards the back door. When he got there, he was delighted to see that it was already slightly open, and the cool refreshing breeze felt wonderful as it coiled it's soothing fingers around his hot and aching body, making him shudder and smile at the same time.
"Hey There Gordi!" said Nightstar, who had just sat down to a rather large mug of hot chocolate, following her earlier night patrol. "Sorry, I missed most of your performance! How did it go?"
"It was just AWESOME Night! Amazing... Did you see Cody and jane's dance? It was like a scene from a fantasy adventure movie!" He slumped down into the chair directly opposite night's, and took another sip from his bottle... this was always a time that he loved... the "coming down" after all of the adrenaline of performing. It felt calming and balancing to the very soul!
The table companions were slightly startled at this moment, by a loud crunch! as the back door swung open to reveal a huge cuddly Polar Bear entering the kitchen! She paused, nodded a polite hello, then padded off towards the food table at the nearside of the great hall!
Just then a faint flicker of golden light caught Gordi's eye as it darted out from under the table... "What on earth was that?" he mused... but so many magical things had already happened that night that it was quickly put to the back of his mind. It was only when he went to rise a few minutes later, that it finally dawned on him what the flash of golden light had been!!
"Bloody Pixies!!!!!" he growled, as he CRASHED! onto the floor... dragging poor Night with him, by the still-booted leg!! They just sat silent and staring for a moment then stifled a giggle... which rapidly grew into a full-on belly laugh as they realised that the Pixies had tied their laces together under the table, when they had been distracted by the magnificent bear!! The tears streamed down their faces as the laughs finally subsided, Gordi made his apologies, untangled the laces and helped Night back into her seat.
"I think I might take a wee stroll in the gardens!" he said with a quick bow to his table-mate as he backed away slightly embarrassed, towards the still-open door.
As he stepped out onto the back porch and looked up at the inky darkness of the night sky, he saw that the moon was beginning to rise above the canopy of trees off in the distance, and the stars sparkled and twinkled, as they played out their parts in the timeless celestial dance up above.
"Could the night be any more beautiful?" he thought to himself, and blushed as he remembered his entanglement with Nightstar moments before. "Ahem! I think I'd better take that wee walk now!" he decided, and promptly stepped off the porch onto the cool fresh grass below.

A strange "booming" sound was heard coming from the trees, towards the moon-rise. It was like the clashing of the very Titans with the Gods themselves! A low gutteral, booming growl from the bowels of hell! A Fearful Sound from The very End Of times!
"Ah, that'll be True getting in some more practise!" he thought to himself as he strolled on!

Up ahead he could just make out the faint outline of a Rainbow Coloured Jesters hat lying on the ground??
"What's This?" he thought to himself, and it only became more and more confusing the nearer he got and the clearer he saw it! For there... Lying on the ground was a beautiful Elven lady in sparkly rainbow coloured dress and jesters hat lying face-down in the grass!!
"Jacy... Jacy is that YOU????" he queried with more than a little concern in his voice, as he stepped forward quickly to assist...

"AAARRRRRRRRRGgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! THUD!! What the?????"

He was looking up at the sky from the bottom of a deep hole in the ground!
"Gordi OMG Gordi!!!! Are You OK????" Swirling golden flashes of light quickly enveloped the stunned figure, as he lay motionless and dazed. The light grew, faded, twirled, sparkled and finally... took form.... in the shape of.... Tsu!!! "I'm Soooooooooo sorry!!!" she said, helping him to his feet "I was just trying to dig...erm...below.. I mean, to get lower than.... Jacy... and..." Her voice tailed off to a broad smile as it dawned on her how silly she'd been, and they all started to laugh uncontrollably. Jacy was by now peering over the edge of the vast hole, giggling at the sight of a rather muddy and chortling Gordi, coming to his feet beside the belly-laughing Tsu.
"Never a Dull moment here!" she laughed, and they all headed back towards the shed arm in arm, giggle for glorious giggle.

Hiya Sheddaroons!

I hope everyone is well! All's very well here, I woke up to an account that didn't 404 so that's the main thing.

Hiya Night! I completely agree with you on the nomination thing. I suggested yesterday that we could do the nominee thing but you are right, the creative flow isn't always there.

I hope you had a nice time with your Mom yesterday.

True? You missed the Eurovision?! Nevermind, I'm sure it's on iPlayer.

Love the story btw. What song were we playing?

Tsu waved at True while busily dancing away, and True lifted the neck to allow Tsu close to his ear, the better to hear her. "So THIS is what you meant by ball crushing inensity!?" She shouted.

My, what big teeth you have, Granny!

Syx, I would love a copy of the full thing when you are finished. I'm going to read through all of Jaky-Sis story this evening. (Thank you Gordi!). Must get tissues ready, it's going to be really strange reading it all again.

You are definitely a writer Syx, you are an amazing storyteller! You are a great muse too!

Jane, if we are going to be on a big ship could I have the look out job? I'd like my own crows nest made entirely from glass, not that I'm demanding or anything but I don't wanna be cooped up in a cabin! The cabins I've stayed in in the past didn't have windows, just a pair of curtains nailed to the wall.

Oh! Gordi- mate! woz wiv da wevva up err bro? Arrrggghhh mate, yah goh ducks in da yard? Sic bro! fech uz a crust man! RRAAAAZZZZZZ!!!!

Sorite dow yer mate, ih ain weh or nuffin, sorite like.

-Tsu-Clart.

Thanks Tsu!
I'll be ok, I have a rather large bottle of Pixiefixer!
It says, rather curiously, on the label:
"LYRICAL
ADVANCES
MADE
BY
SERIOUS
NERD
ABOUT
VOICING
YOUR
REALLY
USEFUL
MAGIC" ????

What's That all about?

I'm sorry! I promised you dragons, I downloaded them last night but didn't post!

Here are a few...

This one lives near our castle ruins on a wall near the walkover into town. He is acually on the wall that holds up the railway that I posted.

I can remember seeing this dragon when I was in a stroller! I've known him all my life!

We had a major thing with dragons down in Newport. There was a school competition during the summer holidays for all the school kids to design and paint dragons. They were placed all over Newport and a map was made for all the kids to go on a dragon hunt. They were everywhere!

Here's a pic of some in our shopping center (mini-mall).

Here's the Newport County rugby team, the Gwent Dragons. Seriously, we are all about dragons down here!

Then of course there is Dragon Taxi's, Dragon Palace Chinese food, and my own cat who I affectionately call 'Dragon Foot' because she stands like the dragon in our national flag, with her front paw raised.

Oh no! Not the Pixiefixer! My eyes! My eyes!.

*Cough...Ack...Splatt...

Aww Cool Tsu!
I wonder if they are related to Sporky, Spike and Spud?
or if they're on the Whimsy side of the clan?

I think it would probably have gone a little bit like this...

I kind of imagine your pixie dancing on the strings would create the pipe music!

And as for my teeth...well, I will not say that I do not bite, but I will say that I do not bite out of context!

Hi guys

What amazing additions to the stories, way to go shedites

Sorry I was absent, I did something REALLY stupid Saturday night and have been fuming with myself ever since.

However Tim very kindly gave a release for my pent up anger today and I am now back to normal. Not at Tim but the person he partnered me with, the guy doesn't pull his weight, and he booked hours to my job whilst he was doing a private job for money on the side.

I had 24 hours to complete the job and he booked 16 to it. I got it done in 16 and 32 were booked to it I found out !!!

CODYPLOSION of epic levels

My apologies for my absence and my love to you all

Cody

They must be related somehow! Phoebes, my cat is on the Tsu side of the family though, we are related to the national dragon who in turn, is related to Jane. Now that would be an interesting looking family tree.

True I love that song! Very catchy. My headphones don't do loud enough to do it proper justice.

That band kind of reminded me of this one in a way, the look and feel of them I mean, but less goth. It's ok to click, it's not rap.
