I must apologise for my absence yesterday. I was working on my day off because a colleague was in hospital for a procedure, and another had continuing works being done on a root canal issue, so I was fielding customers left and right and utterly unable to spare a moment to think, let alone participate in my normal profusion.

An episode of Coast to Coast AM from February 21, 2010 found on Youtube. George Knapp interviews Soviet/Russian UFO researcher Paul Stonehill. This is a very interesting one to say the least.

It's too bad you had to work on your day off Tru. I just woke up and am in so much pain. I try so hard not to take all my meds for different ailments, but this really hurts and later I will have to do my Mother's laundry. I'm not even doing my own laundry today.

I have been struggling to come out of my cave and interact with you all. Haven't done very well with that. Not because of you, but me. You are 'good people' !!

TDawg......Took your advice and hooked up with friends last weekend who are certified instructors . My better half changed his tune on gun ownership and did well as a first timer. Very enthusiastic about it all and I am proud of him. Jr. is a sharpshooter in training Hit his targets center [bullseye?] at various distances with differential on the weapon and ammo. Very proud of him on that. I agree we need the CCW, but want full training first.

Nightstar....I am thinking of you today as you go about. Waking up with pain and having to push yourself is something I am all too familiar with. Its raining here in oregon and i am very sore today.

ETA....the first bit of really good news in a while. My better half just got off the phone with me and said that his company is opening an office/center in Shanghai,China. We have the possibility of transferring over there in the next couple of years.

I am mixed emotions right now. This is what Jr. has been studying for and applying to various exchange programs.

Whoa...


What a hectic day! I have just managed to extract enough carnage and brutality from my PS3 to be able to have normal discourse again!

Mothers laundry huh? I work for my family as you know, so at this point in time, I am not expected to use the washing machine unless I have a fancy to do so (which strikes me, as it does all of us from time to time, when ones wardrobe begins to look spartan in one aspect or another ).

Myself and my colleague were still out doing jobs by well past closing time today, as well as having a frantic rush to get a particular job completed earlier in the day! I feel absolutely drained now. Working with my colleague and mentor, is sort of like working with a thirteen year old in a pensioners body, with all the organisational capacity therefore, of a tornado full of grenades.

That is the stuff I do, instead of the laundry. Much as I love the dude, working with Paul is much more strenuous than the laundry, and at least sixty percent more likely to induce homicidal tendencies!

That said, I have that lovely ache that comes with having done some frenetic and solid work. I got loads of stuff done in the shop, including bodging together a functioning rotunda display, from two entirely defunct ones. Loads to be happy about in that regard, but DAAAAAAMN am I tired!

How was your day in the end? Did you achieve all that you set out to do today?

Well, just finished building a website for the company I am interning for, its Manpower2horsepower, working on the photo gallery now
I'm also planning to be in Atlantic City in NJ from 5-7 May, any Shedders nearby that wanna say hi?

G'Day Shedders! It's been a weird day for this kid.

Kinda had one of those days today. Even broke down and got some smokes just to keep calm. A day full of short & maybe some long term emergencies.

But all the fires are out or under control at the moment. I actually feel better.

I'm just back from band practice... I'm Just about to give up on them I think.
They couldn't agree on the colour of....snow!

SO! I'm about to open my 1st beer of the evening! cheers!
