I would have to say a quaint little town called Wonewoc out in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin. They have a annual spiritualist camp there for the summer, lots of tourist type entertainment within a 3/4 hour drive. (Maybe 15 min. if your on Cody's bike) Lots of lakes and rivers to boat, swim and fish in. Woods to hunt in. Just outside of the town (all of 800 people) is a log cabin park (each cabin has a bathroom) that everyone could stay at.

It's a hilly place as well (Warning to Tsu
) and plenty of bluffs but not that bad. I would say that it would be cool for everyone to camp at my Sisters place, but she only has one and a half bath. (And I'm sure the ladies wouldn't like that) Who knows, maybe my place will be built by that time offering more baths. But that one is taking some time.

It's a lot like Branson, but not as touristy. Lots of Bars/Pubs in the area as well, though none are within walking distance as the property is not in town. But there are also plenty of Micro-Breweries too, so there are all sorts of tastes to sample.

Lots of different wildlife and cows...lots and lots of cows. But the night sky is something to behold as well since there really is not much light pollution.

If I can chime a voice in on the next gathering, I'd say a place like Chicago or NYC; I mean, both spots would probably take Jacy, Dawg & Myself the same time to get there (Night's journey would be a bit farther). Everyone else would have to cram into an airplane to get over here.

I would suggest an amusement park, but I'm sure not everyone's a roller coaster fan.

I have an idea, let's make everybody fly and do the Caribbean! LOL Jacy could even take a cruise there since she has done that before.

(Just not during hurricane season)

Noswaith da pobol!

Yes, I am still up and it's taken me ages to catch up.
First off Machu Pichu is on my 'bucket list'......but that involves getting a passport!
Gawdi...It's BetWs-y-Coed my love...not Betsy Coed! Lol!

As to snow...I have a tale to tell. Some 25 years ago I was living in Aberdeen. I woke up on my fathers birthday May 17th, looked out of my window and found the heavens had dumped 2' of snow over night!!! I couldn't get into work...needless to say my father was in hoots when I phoned him to say Happy Birthday and no I wasn't phoning from work! Freaks of nature happen all the time!

Hiya! Jane!

Looks like I won't be here much longer tonight. I think I'm coming down with something. I've already worshiped at the alter twice tonight. And even though my stomach doesn't feel bad, it is not cooperating at all. I don't really feel sick, but drained.

You all have a good night and I'll talk to you all in the morn.

With all my physical and financial problems, trips are out for me. Couldn't even afford to host people if they came here. My sleeping patterns are all messed up. Usually up all night and sleeping all day. Lately I feel crappy all the time and I have an elderly Mother I have to check on daily. I will have to live vicariously through the rest of you. Just way too difficult to plan anything.

Good thing I can continue to get to know you people in here. I have become terribly fond of you all and will love you forever!

usually I won't charge more than like 200.00 bucks on my credit card. Lately, with purchasing my new computer, paying for blood work, a doctor's visit and a few very cheap books, the total is one thousand two hundred and something!! Minimum payment is 25.00 but I'm paying 200.00. Sigh...

Went out with my friend earlier today, actually yesterday now, it rained like hell and was windy. We just ended up going out for lunch and picking up a few things at the grocery store. Too miserable out to do anything else.

I hope you feel better Dawg. I felt drained all day myself.

Good evening Night! *hugssssss*

God this weather has been crazy this past week to say the least. I went down to Virginia the other day and it was 80 - 85 degrees down there. Come Monday night into Tuesday, its in the forties and raining mixing with snow! I think Spring stopped by and said, "Screw you guys!! I'm going to Florida!!!" Guess nature still can't make her mind up if its gonna be Spring or Winter. I swear that nature hates us..... and my sinuses haven't even started yet.

But look at it this way........... it's coming!!!

We got more rain and wind than we did anything else. We got snow but it didn't stick to anything and if it did. It would have melted off before it would have had the chance to amount to anything.

Morning fellow shed dwellers!

The sun is bright, the breeze is fresh, and I have a driving lesson in an hour and forty five minutes time! I am also working today, despite this being a day off normally speaking!

Busy, busy, busy!

How are you all on this fine morning?

Morning Tru! Looks like we got a dusting of snow last night. Most has melted away already though. Looks weird, we have plants poking up through the ground and snow.

Where is everyone today?

G'Mornin' Night! I slept twelve hours last night. Wow! Do I ever feel better though. I guess I needed it.

Most of the snow here has melted (again) and should be gone by nightfall. After that, according to the various weather sites, it's all good. No more snow until October or November...WooHoo!

Of course, there are weather people out there who are saying that since we had such a extreme winter, that we should not be surprised to see a extreme summer. I hate humidity! (And not really a fan of air conditioning either)

Looking forward to the weekend. I get to Farm sit again!

Afternoon Peeps!

Today actually turned out to be a fairly quiet day at work.
Managed to get all the orders out that needed out, and a huge raft of changes to an up-coming order were cancelled by the customer who decided just to go with plan-A after all!!! LOL You do have to wonder what goes on in some peoples heads though!

Looks like it's been quiet in here too?

I'll get the coffee on.

There is no other town in the US that goes by Wonewoc. (The joke in town is "I'm going to the store, Wanna walk?"
)

It was even in the original Trivia game. I won a game one time because of that question, LOL.

The Spiritualist camp is always fun. And there is more stuff to do within a short distance than you can shake a stick at. But still remote enough to retain it's charm. Lot's of antique stores as well. Jane would probably go on a spending spree or be angry all the time wondering what to buy and how to send it home.

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Is there an initiation ceremony,or do I just jump right in?

I'm mostly found at the avatar creations thread. People call me RR.
I'm a Canadian through and through ( pass the bacon please)
I live with my Lebanese husband in Beirut,Lebanon.
And am having a blast now that spring is here.

When I'm not teaching,I enjoy shopping, reading/ creating art, and shopping.

If anyone ever needs a new look/avatar please let me know. I'd be more than happy to help.

Anyhow , it's very nice to meet everybody.

(Some of you I already know.)
