Good Afternoon Fam!

I woke up delightfully up beat and raring to go this morning!

I love the new chapters from Night, Homer, Fossi and Rod, absolutely marvellous. This is taking a new life of it's own Jaky!

Jane, I love your new avi! Do we have Cody to thank?

It was a roller coaster ride of an evening for me Kat, I was running between the rule book and the threads. I need a holiday to get over yesterday!

Yes, I can't complain...everyone has been quite lovely to me.
I am enjoying this so much...more than my real life, lol.
Everyone adding their story to the mix....it's beautiful.
A couple of people are messaging me to look into publishing our story. Can you just imagine? All of us together, book signings...tours...costumes!! (I can dream!)
We have something really special here...a blend...a bond.

Well the weather over here has been keeping people out of our shop today. It's been raining solidly since I woke up at six, and has been relentless, so it has been a slow day. My mother and I have been trying to look up some options for a customer who needs a big order of padlocks, and I am now thinking about lunch, because sod all is happening in here today!

Other than that, it's been a good day. I have had plenty of tea, spoken to a few locals while out on my cigarette break, just mooching around really, waiting for some work to come in, or some customers to come I to the shop!

Very tedious so far still, there is always a silver lining. The smell of fresh rain is always beautiful, and since I have had sod all else to do today, I have taken more than my fair share of the fresh, cool air! The newspapers reckon we are going to get snow before long, but I would be surprised if it makes it as far south east as my neck of the woods ! Still... I can hope!

Morning Homer! Aww, glad you get the weekend with your son! I'm sure he loves his time with you...he sure looks happy in the pic of you two together!
(I am going to get started on the next 'chapter' shortly, lol. It takes a certain amount of caffeine and nicotine to prod my brain cells into activity!)

TrueBrit, Sorry about your weather. You must have sent the sun to me today, because it's just pouring in through the window! (If you do get snow, don't forget to make a 'snow angel' lol. It's a cheap thrill!)

Geez, I'm gonna need a lot of tabs open, to make sure I keep everyone's character intact. Now that we have some 'history' for most characters, I want everyone's uniqueness to shine through.

My son aint gonna love the plans I got for the weekend. We are ripping out the carpet in his bedroom and laying new carpet down. Yup, his 11 year old little butt will be off the computer and working! LOL

If it snows, I will probably just go for long walks every day I can get a chance! I love walking around in the ice and snow. It's like getting up in natures face, and daring it to take a shot, and then giggling when it lands one! It's great fun!

Sweetheart, by son is EXACTLY like me when I was that age, loved to avoid all kinds of manual labor LOL I'm afraid I turned him into a techie geek, he has an iphone, laptop, etc. When he comes over to my house on the weekends, he is on his computer arguing with his cousin over skype while playing minecraft LOL

My son was never into manual labour either, lol. He used to sit at his computer, in his boxers...with his guitar on his lap. Doing his homework, and chatting to friends on MSN. He was an honour student though, always got his school work done.
I miss those days.

TrueBrit...You enjoy walking in the snow, huh? C'mon over....it's waist-high now. (And I'm almost 6' tall, so that's a LOT of snow!)
