Sure it would be easy for someone to pretend they had missing time. But how can you fake an implant found in some people which "did not match any known compound" and explain that abductees are often too emotional about there experiences to be faking it.

On his web site, Budd Hopkins gives interesting arguments:

(part1 through 4)

I'd be interested to have your opinions.

If there were aliens trying to study us, they would reasonably be assumed to abduct a large cross reference of society, right? For every reason you could think of (gene pool, characteristics, whatever). So why do nearly all abductees you hear about sound either crazy, stupid or are from the back woods of nowhere and the only thing that could confirm their story is the pigs in the yard. I'm sorry but why are most "abductees" so easily discredited? People seek attention in all kinds of ways and for many different reasons. This abduction thing could well be due to influences pertaining to this idea that are more readily aired in western society (which would explain the higher frequency of reported abductions in western society than the rest of the world).

PS, I believe in nothing. However I don't completely discount anything either. The views I put here aren't even really what I believe, just a view. So please feel free to contest them as you wish, it's cool :cool

Later, all the best.

Oisin, have you read about Eeteeteehee's experiences here???

xmb.abovetopsecret.com...

And also ask Alien (one of the moderators) about his experiences and then decide for yourself...

Will do, but I'm not looking to believe one way or the other, it's just personal interest for me. I'm convinced of nothing, and will never be convinced of anything. I don't even really believe I'm hear typing right now, so I aint even gonna start trying to figure out this #! Like I said, it was just a view, for arguments sake. I can see many reasons why it's plausible for abductions to be taking place, even on a mass scale, but I don't really think I'm gonna have a definite theory one way or the other.

Feel free to give me a slap if you feel I need one at this point!

Later dude.

There are far more then three people claiming to have been abducted. Reports come in from all over the world. Hoaxes from different locations over the world would not be this consistent and neither would an "imagined abductions".

The aliens...the basterds,... why how?

Dude, the abduction phenomenan is verry verry real and verry scarry. If it could be explained trough mental disorders you are saying that a whole vilages in Brazil are mentally ill.. how do you explain the children there that get to wake up in other houses, wrong pyjamas,...people that suddenly end up in mexico while their car still has as rolling engine in nevada? the physical scars..? the reports are stashing up.....over a million reports about recaled surgerys...?

the people that remember the experience do remember. everybody knows the difference between a dream and real life.
The more scarry thought is that not eveybody remembers.. who knows how many people get abducted a year..?nobody..

TRough regression without hypnosis it is clear and safe to do. there is no danger for suggestions.

Are they Benovelent? i dont know i dont think so. if whle generations get abducted and famalies.... hybrids could be.. maybe our own children have been tampered with.

I think that the governments of the world have knowledge beyond our comprehension. why do you people think that in the 80ies the alien head got so popular? everybdy recognises it. its the best way to make the people see it as Science fiction....if eteetee reports his findings to the cops he gets the reply that he has been watching to much star strek!

Waky waky

Spot, dude, " you've been watching to much star trek " people would say that 10 years ago if someone would have report, but there still are some people who are still retarded and can't read facts theories by themselfs, now! i don't think anyone would say " you've been watching to much startrek " since lots of people reported and not all of them are mentally ill, so what i think he'll do is take the report to considiration, but if the guy that posted in the old board about his experiments went to the police, he needs a proof doesn't he?

man when i went to the police to tell them there was a stalker with a gun trying to shoot me and my girls heads off he laught at me and believd the idiot with the gun....so its like when you are a good liear you rule...i hate liears..
and rulers..

yup...proof would be nice. i dont know what it is i only know its real.
Peace

Think about this) After the first UFO sighting near Mt. Rainier, sightings suddenly jumped sky high. Just because the thought of UFOs and their power to make fame came, everyone started reporting UFOs to get major attention.

Remember only less than 1% of UFO and alien encounters are unexplained.

True. Unfortunatly there's a kind of hysteria that goes on when a major sighting or abduction experience is reported, everyone fears for their own safety, they draw conclusions they would not make under normal circumstances and there are other people who just desperately wants to get in on the act. I'm not disregarding anything but a lot of things get blown out of proportion. And I don't remember who said it but it was something along the lines that people who don't believe are retarded? No. Just because people are sceptical only mkes them more reliable, because they don't believe blatant falsifications.

Take care all.

A very large number of UFOs have been reported.

So we must wonder why so many visits are necessary. Are they studying the fauna and flora of the Earth. Not much evidence of that. Are they studying our technology or civilization. Maybe, but most sightings don't seem to be related to such behavior.

Wouldn't it be logical that the aliens first goal in their visitation was the study of a new intelligent species in the cosmos: homo sapiens?

sceptism is healthy and believe it or not i am a verry sceptical person, yet i want to know everything thus not rule anything out.

Say if the aliens are flying by and i think we all can be certain that once in awhile an alien craft will fly by,..(becouse there is just so much change of more life out there wich will be much older than us.) it doesnt have to mean that there is any intention in flying by. maybe they are just flying by?

maybe not and are there agenda's even within the goverments but thats not proveble. However do i always keep the disclosure project in mind and all the highranked officers that say they know a lot of what goes on above our little planet. if you were to believe them.. the intentions are not that good..

Its is stupid to say that if you dont believe you are retarded.. then again you are ruling things out. naybe there is nothing going on and we are all crazy. who knows...?

Please clarify, I don't know exactly what you're saying in this line, I took it to mean that people are retarded because they dismiss abduction stories but I could be wrong. I won't contest this point until you clear up what exactly you meant.

Fifty or so years ago, objects were seen approaching Earth; at first they were thought to be meteors, but then it was clear they were ships.

World govts were secretly contacted by the occupants of these ships, and some dialogue ensued. The entities--reptilian in nature--explained that they were part of an Orion empire. Then, a different group contacted the govts.

A race known as the Pleiadaens (misspelled that), who are physically indistinguishable from us; looking much like Northern Europeans, in particular, explained that the ships from Orion were part of a empire more malevolant than any other ever seen in the universe. (The P's had first-hand knowlege of this negativity; about 100,000 of our years ago, an entire planet which the P's inhabited was wiped out by the Orion Empire--but that is another story)

The P's were part of a Confederation of Planets which approached the govts. of the world, and made it clear that they had the abillity to wipe out all the Earth's problems. They wanted Earth to join the Confederation. However there were conditions that they made clear to the people in charge of our world:

1) Teach your children to be unconditionally loving
2) Dismantle all nuclear weapons
3) Stop making war

President Eisenhower rejected these offers from the Confederation, and instead the govt. struck a deal with the Orions. The Orions, or Draconians as they're commonly known, despise the human race and have used every loophole possible in their deal. Their long-term goal is to return to the Earth, which they claim ownership to.

Despite being spurned, the Confederation of Planets has at least one Arcturian battleship patrolling outside Earth, in case the Orions decide to launch an all-out invasion. They (the confederation) also continue contact individuals, called "channels," and use those channels as conduits to spread their message of love and light to Earth people. Some famous channels of ET's were/are Jane Roberts, Edgar Cayce, Daryl Anka, Barbara Marciniak, and Lyssa Royal Holt. But there are thousands of channels who's work goes unnoticed by most people, but is still very profound.

Just another idea.

May be that some of them are on earth, like we were in the Pacific, during WW2.

At this era, we were in Pacific Islands coz there was a war. We weren't there to help local peoples, or studying them or anything else. We HAD to be there, for the war. After the war, we left.We had our reasons that local peoples weren't able to understand.Anyway, I'm not sure we tryed to explained them.

May be some aliens species are on Earth for the same reasons. And they don't feel any obligations to tell us why coz they don't mind ( don't care ? ) about us.

Others species want to study us, and others don't care. May be it's just a kind of " stellar-oasis " for some of them.

That's a pretty interesting take on the subject, Ultra, and one that I haven't seen discussed before.

I like it!

I don't totally buy it, but I think it makes a heck of a lot more sense than most of the theories out there.

Thanks Byrd.

Like you see, sometimes, I can be serious.

I don't know why some ET's are on Earth.
But if the Drake Equation is true, we have probably plenty of different ET's species on Earth.

Probably, they are " like " us. Some are good, others are neutrals, others are bad ( and may be really really bad ), some others want to study us, and some others don't care about us.

It's sound logic. I don't think that all of them are bads or goods or neutrals or what you want.

10 differents species, 10 differents behaviours, 10 differents motivations....

In my point of view, it's clear that some Earthling governments did somes treaty with them.

Also, much to my surprise, these treaty are allways involving the US gov'. I have never read or heard a story about a treaty between the ET's and another government.

It's a good question. Why with the US,
and not with the former USSR, or China ?
Greys are democrat may be ? I don't think so. And if they are democrat, why not with another so-called democratic country ? England, France, Germany, Japan, North-Korea(
)... Why specialy with the USA, and only the USA ?

No, something is going wrong.

And look at us. We have so many governments. Not them ? They are all a great familly with the same points of views under their own "wonderfull " OWO ?

May be we didn't ask to ourselves the good questions, and it's time to do it.
