The thing is, nobody claims people didnt die on 9/11. There is rarely a thread about Sandy Hook that doesnt make that claim.

Ive said it before, and Ill say it again: its the people that couldnt discuss this topic responsibly that forced the site to take the stance they have.

I fully believe there is more to the story than we have been told. I think it is highly likely there was a second shooter. But the tabloid style accusations and baseless claims about the victims and innocent participants on these topics is appalling.

There are people claiming the whole no-planes theory and all that, but in fairness to the site owners they also prohibit talk of that as well unless using original source footage, seems reasonable. There are just so many other circumstances where people deny an event happening that isn't instantly grounds for a ban here on ATS, I've seen plenty of discussion that many would label holocaust denial, which is denying an event where millions died, and that's allowed (not saying it shouldn't be)

It just seems so very strange on a site who's whole thing is questioning and finding answers, denying ignorance and all that, to say you can't ask questions about specific things. If people are crossing the line and attacking families or something, they can be dealt with. But the current stance is akin to naming your home the "house of logic" and then burning it down to get rid of a rat problem.

Its not the asking questions that is the problem. It is blaming victims. It is accusing innocents of being child molesters (yes, that has happened many times), it is accusing a grieving parent of faking it, it is all of the baseless accusations that are thrown out and pushed as legitimate.

This site is all about denying ignorance. Clinging to fringe theories with no evidence is, most definitely, ignorance.

No plane theories and holocaust denial are not allowed on ATS either. Those will get tossed in this same section.
