I would love to, but I get next to bugger all time for anything. My business is twenty four hour see. That's why I invited people to come down my way on New Years, because aside from my yearly rock festival, I have to be within sobering up and rushing to jobs distance of my job!

I have lived around here my whole life, and short of a lottery win, or an unknown uncle popping up with a vast wedge of cash for no reason at all, I will probably die around here as well.

Why oh why did I go onto facebook today?
I have it, but I don't really use it...just check in occasionally.

So today, pictures of roses, teddy bears and chocolates. "Look what my boyfriend left for me...", or "My husband sent me flowers at work...", or...."He asked me to get him a beer, and this necklace was in the fridge...".

It's NOT about the presents. It's about the person who has the forethought to do a little something...secretly...just to please their partner. And that can be hard to deal with, when you know that there will be NO surprises, not today...not last year...not next year.
(Yes, I have done the cute/sweet/romantic little things...through different relationships...hoping to maybe show someone that these things are fun, cheap...and just plain ole nice!)

*sigh*
Anyways....now I have my earphones in, blasting Black Sabbath and head-banging like the word "migraine" isn't part of my vocabulary.

Let's ROCK this place!!
