Maybe its just the accent.. I dunno. In this circumstance, I wouldnt say its a bad thing. I think he is a bit annoying.

You seemed comfortable on the camera though. I could hardly tell you were reading a teleprompter!

A lot of people miss the old emotes. Although I use them a fair bit when I am chin wagging with folk, I personally spend quite a bit of time in dry discussion of serious issues as well, and I like to use my extensive vocabulary, rather than emotes more often than not. I have probably used more emotes here in this thread, than in any other!

No, I have never done that. I write them down, but I do not speak in public much. I played my bass at an open mic night once, but it was an instrumental.

Heh, well thanks! The hair is going pretty grey, although the video does not show it , mostly owing to the fact that the iPad is not possessed of the best camera I have ever used !

And hearty cheers to you as well !

I have to thank you for setting this fantastic thread up. It's been, and is, great fun to share with all of you guys, even on such an aggravating day as this one !

And here I couldn't get you to read your poem for the radio...

You've spruced up and are FULL of courage, I see!
Awesome greeting, TB. I must thank whomever sent me the Mystery Valentine yet again, or I would not have seen this thread, and I would have missed this epic VDay post. It is nice to put an accent with that avatar! (I mean I knew the Brit part, just not what part of Brit you were...erm...does that even make sense?)
Enjoy your bloodjuice ye pirate!

Ah AB!

Well, I do not do to well with a script. I'm ok ad libing but I get flustered when there is a pre determined set of parameters within which one is confined. As the vid goes, that was a single take, and no dramas, because there was no script. It was just what I wanted to say at the time, and that nearly always works better for me!

Also, regarding which part of Brit I am (AAAH GRAMMAR COLLISIONS!!!) I was born and raised in Essex, in England.

I totally get it. I was complimenting you, silly. *sigh* Between the lines you should read "Wow - I love your voice! It would be awesome to hear you do one of your poems!" I was only mildly ribbing you about not reading the poem...besides, it gave me the opportunity to read your poem meself!

Unscripted and straightforward suit you, TB.

As always,
- AB
