The GOP establishment loves big government. Loves big spending. Hates the conservatives
Immigration will destroy conservatives as an important voting block and allow the GOP establishment to publically show their true RINO colors and tack completely to the center and be the American version of the UK conservatives, the Tories. Who by American standards would equate to moderate big business democrats.
Hegelian Dialectic brought full home. Mass immigration will allow the Dems to go full leftist, the GOP to redefine moderate as the "right". This will allow "degrees of socialism" to become the policy battleground and conservatives will be the dangerous fringe that DHS just has to go do something about.

Yeah I know, it was just an observation and I could care less about their phoney RINO party. My concern is that it will impact conservative Americans (not to be mistaken for the GOP.)

My definition of conservative is that citizens are to be free to do as they choose as long as it does no harm to others. Which makes me a liberal anarchist at most or classic liberal at the least. Go figure.

The Tea Party is the only one trying to fight this amnesty BS. Right now the establishment Republicans and Democrats are trying to destroy the Tea Party. If they fall it's over for America. There is not other third option that is strong enough to take on the establishment. The Tea Party is not perfect, but if we don't get them elected to take over DC. America will look like the third world country like the movie Esylum, so u better freshen up on your Spanish.

I don't know why they are still beating around the bush with this. Go ahead and get on with it. Just declare matrial law and be done with it. Most Americans are too numb to even notice anyway, as long as their TV still works and someone with a teleprompter tells them it's going to be okay.

You suffer from exactly the same problem as we have in UKy a two party system which has the same puppeteer pulling the strings so don't expect change unless both parties are either reduced in power and mopre choice is available that is not of the same ilk and wire puller or yhou replace the lot and start again with no strings.

Immigration only brings in more soldiers for the elite and keeps the once peers of the elite who chose not to exploit, murder and defraud their fellows, under control and swarming powerlessly.

Mexicans, they would know that they lean heavily Conservative themselves but how can they vote for party's that despise them, ignore why so many risk their lives to get here, live in misery here because it's better than the misery in Mexico and totally ignore the US hand in why it's so terrible in Mexico that they have to flee. Legal immigrants vote Democrat because the majority of Conservatives hate them and perceive them a threat and their xenophobia is worn as a badge of pride.

I have found it odd that with all the screaming and crying the Tea Party has done about "big government " and "government waste" , they have been the primary leaders of push to "defund Obamacare" even though it is settled law. They have also been among the ones pushing for the overturing of Roe v. Wade knowing either bill they pass will get vetoed by Obama.
The main thrust of the GOP in 2010 was jobs and they never brought a bill to the president's desk. Again in 2012, the same thing - JOBS - and still no bill has been put up for a signature.
They wouldn't pass gas if they thought Obama would get any credit for it.
To me this has been the worst case of government waste since I started watching these jokers play with our money.
If it were not for military spending, all of our money would be just sitting in a bank somewhere. Yea, ha ha ha.

Personally I don't care why they risk their lives to break our laws entering the US illegally. To me that makes them criminals who spit on all the immigrants following the rules to enter legally. Also disagree with your statement conservatives "hate" legal immigrants, that is not true. It's the "illegal" immigrants we can do without.

It's just knowledge I've accumulated over the years. Mexicans are overwhelmingly Catholic, family focused and socially conservative, this is widely known or should be. You would think people would learn about their perceived enemies. Don't worry though this could work out well for Conservatives in the end... after the GOP goes down in flames and citizenship becomes easier to attain, Mexican Americans could give birth to a new Conservative movement.

Are you seriously willfully ignoring the why? Everything I've posted in this thread is the why... they would vote Republican if the lot weren't such xenophobes.

"Conservative America" doesn't need any help imploding. It's doing it all by itself. Democrats are fairly united, and have been for some time. There are no cries of Liberal in Name Only or in fighting over who is more or less liberal than another.

Conservatives, however, are entering year ten of a escalating war against itself. They very much are engaged in a battle of who is more or less conservative than another. It's a battle that likely lost them the 2012 election, and may very well end badly for them in 2014 and 2016.

They fight among themselves so severely, that they can't even manage to legislate in the Republican controlled House without turning on each other.

After the 2012 election loss, the Republican Party put up a website for the sole purpose of getting feedback on what they could do better going forward. Apparently, they ignored the results of said website survey. The world, and yes, even America is changing in terms of social issues. The Republican party doesn't seem to have a clue how to adapt, but they must, or they won't win again for some time. Even moderate conservatives have realized that the party is hemorrhaging votes simply due to their failure to ever try to pander to women, gays, minorities, etc. without being completely condescending in the process.

They lost the most winnable election in decades, and instead of getting back on track, they just fight among themselves. I sure hope "I'm the most conservative" button is a nice consolation prize...

You know what is truly funny? How history repeats itelf. Since day one of this nation newcomers like the Irish, Germans, Scandanvians, Italians etc. have been delared and destroying America. Ironic that the same silly thing is still declared today.

You would have point except back during those waves of immigration there was not a welfare state and people were coming in to work and be successful, not just to get on the dole.
