Obviously it's a scam, which is why they switched from global warming to climate change, because obviously no one can deny that the climate changes, always has and always will. All I'm going to say is, conservatives are historically wrong.

I mean, give conservatives the world they want and women don't have the right to vote, there is no Civil Rights Act, and slavery is still legal. That's the world they fight for.

Every time they get nitpicky on the details and every time history proves them to be epic failures and mindsets we must never return to. That's the conservative legacy.

Now conservatives say we have no reason to change our ways. Climate change isn't real.

This is just conservative history in the making.

The biggest problem, in my very strong view at this stage, is that we're looking at precisely the wrong things.

I agree with this, and this is why:

We have seen what government does with the power it already has. It has time,after time,after time, repeatedly abused that power.

The government has not been, and it doesn't look like it will ever be good stewards of the people, and thus by extension will not be good stewards of the 'planet'.

Politically created, politically motivated,politically driven.

How anyone supports giving them more power than they ever had, unprecidented power IMO is insanity.

Keep in mind people, that Winter does not disprove Global Warming. LOL We get winters, we'll always have winter storms there will always be cold areas on the planet. Summer does not prove Global Warming either. These are short sighted observations. I find it hilarious when people post that winter proves there is no global warming. A ship got trapped in the ice...so therefore there cannot be Global Warming! Really?

I suspect 50 years from now conservatives will be muddying the waters with disinformation, saying it was liberals who were against climate change.

Just like they now say Hitler was a socialist, not a fascist.
Martin Luther King was a conservative.
Probably all the slaves were conservatives and slave masters were liberal.

They love to point out the fact that it was actually Democrats who wanted slavery, but they leave out the part that it was Conservative Democrats.

So, instead of bending history after the fact-- Why not have the foresight to see which side is the good human side, and just take that stance now?

Picture it like this...Mother Earth is alive and has been for billions of years and every now and then she gets sick, just like you and I. We catch a virus. Well, Mother Earth has a fever, her temp is rising cause she caught a virus...Us! We're the bugs making her sick and she'll be sick till she rids herself of the virus.

Liberals prefer equality at the expense of freedom.
Conservatives prefer freedom at the expense of equality.

Both are important, both are needed in modern society. The more of your preferred end you are willing to take at the further expense of the opposite concept is how far left/right you are in the spectrum.

All other differences are politics and prove their plan is working like a charm.

The problem of liberalism is that everyone is equal - except for the elites that run the system, they are exempt from the freedom-killing policies that they mandate on everyone else. If the elites had to be equally poor as everyone else in a collectivist society, then they wouldn't be able to carry out their totalitarian rule.

The whole second part of the article that you posted, was how those sites were only proposed, many were dead, and that it was up to governments and politicians to decide if they really want them.

Actually they had to change it because of simpletons who think that because it is snowing means that there is nothing wrong with the climate.

I would love to know what trillions and billions of dollars are being bilked from citizens.

Claiming that it is a cycle is the laziest form of denialism of all. Because a skeptic can never explain what drives the natural cycles.

Heck, I WANT it hotter. No matter what the problems are with hot weather, I can grow crops in a desert. I can't grow crops in a sheet of ice. That simple.

Except that it is in the government's own best interest to not have GW. The disasters and health issues that are being created and will be created will cost far more than any revenue that can be had from GW. We are looking at costs into the trillions.

So any argument about wanting regulation and making money from imaginary taxes and carbon credits will be far offset by the trillions it will cost to clean up after disasters.
