That's what I was thinking of...Leadbeater and Besant being able to remote view atoms. That is an INCREDIBLE story. Anyways, the practice goes way back to Eastern gurus. It would be neat to learn the practice with the more modern protocols. But it makes me wonder about how people were so good with it back in the day without said protocols.

Talk about some very centered people. Their discipline must have been off the charts.

Normally this requires seclusion and freedom from much of worldly responsibility. Temples and meditation chambers are built to engender these states. If you read any of the medieval grimoires, such as Abramelin, you will find directions to obtain lodgings as far away from any humans as possible, where no one will ever disturb your concentration, and where only natural forces intrude.

Folk here probably don't realize that we always kiss and make up, er, in a manly way that is. Nor that we have a true & lasting affection for one another.

I do dislike long discourses that contain a lot of personal philosophy about obscure terms and Kelly often attempting to "correct" people on their own personal perceptions of the reality behind reality.

When I see post after post of it, it really makes it hard to pursue themes. We both have our obsessions/passions, but hopefully we can mostly keep it in our own or other appropriate threads. Other than that, we're pretty much aces.

I've loaned my support to a number of his threads. And will in the future I'm sure. We even actually agree on much, but our interpretations are often different.

Eh. It reads more like the cults are the ones working their way up - starting with Henry A. Wallace. Granted, The Nine might be a totally inhouse job by Puharich and friends but... We just don't know. So little has been written about this stuff...

Hell. Putin's inner circle is full of occultists and transhumanists. The Cheka/NKVD/OGPU had its own Vama-marga cults lurking in the shadows of the gulag archipelago.

Well, all I can say is, the more I have learned about allegedly in the know people who were in government, and military, and cults, the more I have realized that most of them I've met are wannabe's like anybody else. Most were faking it, they just do that better than most as it's part of their nature. Like everyone else all they really had was pieces of info from all over. They weren't dropping hints, they were exposing most of what they knew and just making it look like a hint, trying to make out they were wiser than they were and hoping to in turn get some piece of info from you.

No context existed for putting the puzzle together. I don't have much faith that any of our people actually have this. All the alleged experts and insiders are somewhat literally the blind leading the blind.

I would include the reverse engineering stuff in there as well. It seems to have really kicked off with the gravity control black projects in the 1950's, and the corporations got into UFO research as a part of it in the 1960's. Then we have the Alan Holt NASA stuff in the 1970's along with Persinger's Space-Time Transients in 1977. By the 80's they were talking about traversable wormholes...

With regards to the mind control stuff, we have MK-ULTRA after Puharich's ESP/mind control work and MKOFTEN as a spin off of that under Gottlieb. I've also seen OFTEN mentioned as the US Army program that was active in the same stuff as MKULTRA. This also ironically crosses over with Persinger's work... I think Persinger is only the public face of research that has been going on since the 1950's. John Alexander said that the Monroe Institute was doing stuff with EM fields like his god helmet thing in the 1970's.

And of course, we have the Mankind United stuff along with the Mound Laboratory in Miamisburg that almost never gets talked about (perhaps intentionally). Plus Jack Verona - our Avarian man of mystery. Maybe we can entice him to do an AMA?

Besides Kenneth Arnold's sighting and Crowley's death, 1947 is FULL of interesting stuff: CIA chartered, Project Paperclip, Israel solidifies nationhood...that's off the top of my head, there's so much more.

Kennedy is probably unrelated unless one accepts the exopolitics guy something controversial of course.

The line may begin in 1947, Peter Lavendas Sinister Forces has about everything eventhough that great book isnt about UFology per se: has a good chronology of that year and then he goes into the Puharich, Nine, and Army psychic psyop, psychedelic, MKultra, URI Geller, UFOlogy maze, as well the Whitney Strieber club and much more.

A good timeline with adequate graphics can be spell binding, informative, amazingly suggestive and dangerous, but necessary.

- According to Gardner’s account, in the book “Uri”, Puharich hypnotizes Geller, and Geller reveals more of the Nine’s plans. They have authority over the Hoovians, which are the Controllers of various planetary civilizations. A city-sized spaceship called Spectra hovers over the Earth and sends messages from the Hoovians light-years away to their super-computers to Geller, who is their emissary on earth. (Gardener, 1981, p 276)

- Mid-70s: ran a complex in Ossining called the Turkey Farm. In the summer of 1975, Puharich assembled around twenty children from the ages of nine to late teens, called “Gellerlings”, or “Space Kids”. Puharich trained their psychic abilities, and claimed that they received messages from aliens. One teen claimed that they practiced remote viewing, and some of their assignments included political targets like the Kremlin and the White House. (Levy, 1989, p 165-7)

- Puharich has claimed that the Space Kids are able to materialize objects like trees, and that six of them arrived at his ranch via teleportation. (Gardener, 1981, p 287)

- It was also during this time that Puharich did experiments on the effects of ELF radiation on the central nervous system.

I imagine that’s why when I asked John Alexander, when he was on ATS, about Puharich he said he did know him and that the guy was in the end paranoid.

At one time, it seems he was a golden boy among many of our cast of characters. Then something went wrong. Then they all disavowed him. There's something there, but it's even more mysterious than a lot of what we're talking about.

I've kind of given up on him research-wise because the trail seems to have gone cold long ago. My fascination remains, however. Maybe you and 1o9 can develop or track down some more info. All that EM and MK stuff is probably why the trail goes cold.

The Turkey Farm was also more or less right in the middle of the Hudson Valley flap a few years later...

Some of the stuff I ran across suggest that he was exposing his channelers to EM fields, or at the very least, was doing some clandestine dental work to stick his radio-thingies in their teeth. Either way, the content of The Nine would have been easily fabricated by Puharich and friends.

I would be glad to try it, MAYBE. But that may be a small book. I might give it a try.

Though with a full time job and writing 2 books intermittedly (one on this topic) and trying to get another one published, it would be a challenge for me at this time

I think you and Isaac, and 1of 9, would knock that out with help from us with ideas and data

It has to be fluid yet grounded in a hypothesis, though have peripheral possibilities.

I'd say it went to his head. He got caught up in his own web, and turned into some kind of wannabe Messiah. That, or he spent a little too much time running current into his head.
