Ooops, hit enter too soon.

Let me start again.

I'm calling out a member of ATS.

beezzersbride.

My wife.

Currently we are apart. Not separated, we are happily married. But I am in our new location, working, and she is back home with beez jr. closing out and prepping the move, etc.

Finances. Ugh. Stressful. Paying for a hotel here for months, keeping up with bills there, it gets stressful.

But she, tonight, put it in perspective.

A neighbor lost their job. So my wonderful wife bought them groceries, even got them a couple pizza's tonight. She told them to relax.

She put things in perspective for me tonight.

I'm bitching and whining over bills, future expenses, and she see's a hungry family. And feeds them.

I guess that's why she's my better half.

I'm proud of her, of her compassion, of her heart, of her ability to care, of her ability to put things in perspective.

She makes me a better person by being a better example.

I just wanted to share, not any accomplishment on my part, not any great thoughts, no profound realisations, but to share that I am lucky to be married to such a wonderful woman.

Awwwww...sounds like you needed Beezerswife to clean the glass for you. That was so sweet of her helping the neighbors, and letting you see, your side of the fence ain't as bad as you thought.

If I were you, I'd kick her to the curb and send her my way. (Just joking)

I need a better half.

Hell, maybe I need a evil half for that matter.

But good on your wife. She sounds like a lovely caring person.

She is.

She is far better and nicer than myself.

And, um. . . . I'm keeping her!

Great thread until I got to the first few comments about carrot juice and thought I'd entered the "Twighlight Zone" then realised

Beez.....I know we have had our differences but I went through something very similar last week.

I was complaining about my work situation and the hours I am working etc and my wife humbled me by saying how thankful she is that we just have money coming in and that I have a job to go to when so many are suffering in America and around the world right now.

Then she told me to suck it up and get back to work.....gotta love strong intelligent and yet caring women

Good luck to you and your family during this stressful time.....moving sucks

Thank you. It's nice when we can marry better than ourselves, it only makes me better.

(shhh, she's a big liberal also)

One year, my wife, when we were together, spent almost $1,000 on one of our best friends family at x-mas because he had lost his job.

I came home from a deployment on leave and found out and lost my mind for about 6 hours, in the end though, it was only money, what does that matter to a pool player with a brand new cue, or two adorable little boys with " sting" from TLOTR?

The hours of enjoyment I saw at play in the hands if them after words, or the smile on the face of a friend since grade school as her kids opened these gifts was more than payment enough.

Random acts of kindness are the best. I was on my favorite Ducati forum this winter when one of the members had gotten laid off. He ranted about six bucks to get to Sunday, it was Friday. I contacted the site admin and he broke some rules for me. He got a gift certificate for two large Pizzas from his local pie shop and I never said who did it.

On that forum there is an entire thread dedicated to paying it forward. We take care of each other there. Out of the blue someone sent me ten pounds of gourmet coffee once.

Too bad we could never pull that off here.
