Do you know if anyone discussed anywhere why this rock can be torn, ripped with fraying like burlap?
If so what was the explanation?

www.edtruthan.com...

I haven't seen any discussion about that rock, but I also don't see any reason for a discussion about that specific rock, as there are many other rocks of the same type around.

Sedimentary rocks, being the result of the "solidifying" (I don't know what other word to use) of sediments like silt can get many shapes.

Yes true, I have not personally seen any rocks like this one must have missed those pictures.
The rocks that have tears like that with fringe on earth are mixed with plants as they form, I can't see sediment without plant fibers doing this.

Maybe it is an old nest,

Could be a fibrous mineral like asbestos.

yeah that rock is kinda interesting, looks like one side is trying to evolve and crawl away

funBox

The front of that broken shoe rock looks like a rooster, or foghorn leghorn..

The resemblance to a rooster is uncanny.. Or an eagle or something..

Good eye. And the little one on the bottom right looks like one of the Planet of the Apes apes, while the zoom in on the left looks like a demon.

I still put in a claim on finding the best Mars-demon rock, haven't pulled it out for awhile. You can look at it as face on with two eyes, or looking to the right with one eye. I'll use it for my Halloween avatar!:

I suppose that's not so uncanny after all.

That old dead robot sure has similarities to this, but maybe only I will see it!
When they see doing something in the future i thing maybe they already do it on a regular basis.

I added the eagle reference only after noticing the rooster's comb wasn't a part of the same rock.
Or didn't appear to be.

Aliester: That demon rock is quite interesting, and the circular shapes look carved, plus the thing on the edge of the whole thing looks like a creature observing that demon..

interesting when you take the head of foghorn and see the insane proportions to the rest of the body in the rock , if a true marsimal it would make a finger likin meal

well that's if you drank enough water with it
might get a bit dry after a few mouthfuls , ahh well , so it is with chicken

Is it an illusion or is it a hole in the center of this picture?

Insect top left

Thread conclusions:

Approximately 34.72 percent of objects on Mars could be life forms.

None of the Mars pictures are clear enough nor close enough to know what the hey you are looking at.

Rover gets real clean and shinny sometimes...is there a water hole he visits for a bath?
