I don't know how to take a snapshot of what I saw but
I did see what looks like a stick and something odd next to it.

Thanks. Yes, we spent lot of time with that one rock and then the things laying around in front of it. funbox did gifs, we all speculated, and everyone had a great time (except ArMap, who pointed at us and laughed). The blueit/breast rock sure has a funny underpinning, and that's what I was looking at in the post you copied - underneath it looks like nothing but tiny things holding it up and the rest is air. So the rock itself must be a part of a much larger structure, so it doesn't just collapse onto its underside.

hollow rock

Hollow rock...how about a Hollow Rock that tears like fabric? Sadly I have no way to remove blur so i can see!!

There are so many weird things in this panorama it would take months to look at it. Manufactured looking things, fossil things, shiny things.

This is the same picture they found the metallic looking Marsamal that eats rocks. On the far right middle remember him.

Hollow rock torn at bottom corner.

Thank you for the reply and the gif showing the movement of the two rocks. My husband loves looking at the pictures and if he sees anything else we know where to bring them

I really like this one, another marsammil for you. This one looks like a miniature chipmunk lion buffalo, one of my favorite animal species.

marsrovers.jpl.nasa.gov...

Number 1. how about these three items...the one like a shrimp is that compression also?
Number 2 is that what it looks like? Kind of like the basket thing I saw before?
number 3 is a worm :-)

I think they are walking all over worms and small things with those rover feet!

I was thinking the object number two I circled looked like this one.

Since they seem similar some sort of thing that attaches to others objects or in a hole in the ground, maybe they are an insect burrow/trap sort of thing. Kinda creepily looks like a hand :-)

No worries, Curiosity is doing fine ... Char-Lee dug up an older Spirit or Opportunity image (MER-A/B). Both of them got stuck at some point, whereas Opportunity could be freed and still roams the martian landscape to this very day.

P.S.: Here go the latest updates from Opportunity ... Linky

behind the object you enlarged see the little coyote like face?

yeah i got off onto some older pictures just randomly looking through some. They sure did some digging!
Seems strange to take so many pictures of the exact same thing sometimes.

I also had a great time, only different.

From OPs opening post with snaps compilation, my favorites are 9 - 15. Awesome!!!!!
Any of them were discussed in detail?

Does the board think any of them could be truly without definitive explanation?

The thread has crazy pace I can not keep up with.)) so much stuff going on the red planet.

They're pretty much all odd-shaped rocks or weird shadows, since we are unaware of any kind of life -- primitive or advanced -- ever being on Mars. Despite it looking kind of like a familiar desert on Earth, Mars is cold and dead like you wouldn't believe. If the study of extremophiles has shown us anything, it's that if there's even the tiniest chance for life to get a foothold, it will do it. Life is pernicious and aggressive. So if we don't see any obvious signs of life right here, right away, there's probably nothing there and there never has been.

Interesting looking rocks, though.

Hey there,

I did not mean in above comment pics that resembled living creatures. How about from hi tech perspective, most I have mentioned look like parts of technology.

hope everyone has a wonderful evening)

The only technology on Mars is what we shot there with our clever rockets.

Do you know if anyone discussed anywhere why this rock can be torn, ripped with fraying like burlap?
If so what was the explanation?
