Dollukka I am so very sorry to hear about your father. That is so sad & I hope
the test comes back negative. My door is always open if you need to talk.
I will be burning a candle for both of you. Trying to stay strong & positive
is all we can do. But as BFFT says whenever you feel the need to cry just
do it. It's not healthy to keep it inside. Peace.

That 3rd one down is pure evil! Reminds me of horror flicks.
The first one...well I had an extremely quick nightmare last
night. I'm recovering from a total hip replacement (no I'm not old)
& I was having pain last night. Bloody hell all of a sudden my knee jerked
hard straight up & my hip hurt like ^%$*^@! A hand that looked just like
yours had grabbed me knee & jerked it up! Oh I woke immediately &
in hip pain.
Guess I should not be thinking about avatars when I go to bed.

To folks in general
WHY we are sooo silent ? Don´t we have anything to do...

I just wanted to say hello here, i got a call from my hometown and my old father ( closer to 80 ) who has been asthmatic for few years has been in bad condition lately and troubles to breath, he in general has been in good fit but breathing problems now made him to take a visit to the doctor, he was scanned today in local hospital and there is a tumor in his lungh. They don´t know yet if its a good or bad one and my father is coming here to be investigated in University hospital which is about 20 km from where i live and if he will get a therapy it also will happen here.
So he will be staying with us when he is not in the hospital till we know more and till the treatment is done. It doesn´t look good, he can´t drive anymore and even sitting gives him great pain. We were going to spend our winter vacation in my hometown but now plans have been changed.
So i just wanted to say not to worry about me if wont be around much.

Gutted to hear that, Ats is the best community there is, and we are all here to support you, God knows I've seen enough suffering to last several lifetimes.

I'm here if you need to talk, scream and shout, or just want to swear a a list of profanities to relieve the stress. We are all just a u2u away.

Don't feel alone dolluka you are much loved and respected here, and the artists here I have no doubt will all be here to rally around and support you in this hour of need.

Any time you need to just let it all out feel free to u2u me, I won't take offence at anything you might say. Just be here and listen.

Your Dad has been added to the families prayer list and my best energy is being sent your way.

Stay strong my friend, and in times of weakness use us as your crutch, and never be afraid to cry.

Would you like to make me an Avatar? My name is a play on words. Both a Light Knight, and a Night Light. Shiny and sparkly sounds good. Maybe something with a darkness in the background with either one or a bunch of lights Lighting up the dark?

It can look girly or not, I am a guy, but I like pretty things. Maybe the Moon could be a good symbol for a Night Light? Could have a knight at the bottom being lit up by a shaft of moonlight even. OR alternatively a shaft of moonlight hitting a lake , with a knight sitting there or something haha. Shiny armor, Sparkly water...

Really anything but this gray box would be nice. This would be the full size background.

I'd love it if you would like the challenge.

OK team we have a customer .................. man it's been a long dry spell.

My challenge to you lot of reprobates.

We all make an avatar and have a mini comp, we all love a challenge, the winner, the AV that gets chosen, gets a star from all of us.

It's not much but it's a chance to play.

Night shift is about to sign off here so I'll have play tommoz.

There's a transparent image between these two lines. Just save it and upload it into your avatar space.

You also need to place the image in the background space. If you click on the image under uploads, click the little window icon on the right hand side. The next one to the left is the avatar icon.

Gotta run, but there should be a few folks kicking around that can help if you get stuck...
