OMG, no kidding. The first 3 days of this week are so busy....i have done the same amount of tasks i normally would do in a week so far.

Yeah, I know what you mean.
I have finals to prepare , review for the finals with kids, then next week I can start testing them.
The next 2 weeks for me are going to be very hectic.

Or maybe a 4th July contest? We haven't had a contest in a
while, they are great fun, & they always push me into learning

Summer solstice.. Friday 20 of June ( Juhannus ).. its so close.. now its 11:35 pm and its bright outside and in couple weeks its gonna be sunshine all night long.
I like the summer here but its hard to sleep when its not dark.
"Juhannus" magic.. there are plenty. put seven different flowers under your pillow that night and your future husband will meet you in your dreams.. etc

Anyway.. won´t be around lol ( obvious reason.. Juhannus.. cottage time )

Yeah I remember touring Europe a few times & it was always
when the sun set late like 12am EST & then it was always morning
like the sun never set....

I have no clue on fractals but they are amazing!

I haven't been studying web design nor participated here since
before me mum passed...so many months. I was hoping to get
a kick in the A$$ to move on & being here with you guys will be a start...
instead of the other classes. I know it's lame but I do miss everyone's beautiful
pieces of art. It inspires me to continue on...sorry if I'm not making since...
just came from shock to realization so another hurdle to cross.

I like the taste of Fazer ranskanpastilli ( french drops ) better they have a bit mint taste in them and chocolate is fabulous ) M&M are flat dull compared to these lol.

Hello wonderfully talented madcap nutters. I've recently upgraded from lurker to fully fledged card carrying tin-foil hat wearing member of ATS and I need an avatar (and more tin foil).

Mura is the Khoi name for the two stars called the pointers, which together with the Southern Cross, can be used to navigate in the southern hemisphere. The name means 'eyes of a great celestial beast' ..... (or it could mean purple turtles doing the tango, who knows? I don't speak Khoi). Anyway, I liked the idea of using the stars from home as my avatar.

I have no final image in mind but could you play around with....

the southern cross AND the pointers against a background of....

umm, an African landscape - beasties, trees (preferably at night - sort of all dark so the stars really stand out) and maybe.....

a South African flag.

The only thing that I really want in there is the constellation of both the southern cross and the pointers - reminds me of lovely evenings spent under the stars growing up.
