sexual preference is not like being born black or a female. Sexual preference is just as the word says it is a preference, a choice.
So are you saying that you're openly attracted to members of the same gender but made a conscious decision to only sleep with the opposite gender irregardless of attraction or connection? Because that's exactly what you're implying gay or bisexual people do, make a conscious decision to be with someone knowing the difficulties with openly living that lifestyle as opposed to being interested in someone they are attracted to or feel a connection with.

Marriage is a covenant between a man and a woman, initiated by the exchange of vows.

Can I just ask you to look at you post and instead of gay put African-American? Notice how that sounds a bit cringeworthy?
As a member of the LGBT community, I have no problem with you having an opinion, as long as it's rational and non-derogatory. But I would like to ask you to look up some accounts of LGBT people and imagine yourself in their shoes.
That said, we may make up a small part of a population, but you can't quiet us that easily.

i siad i don't expect "Special treatment' or "Special Rights" just true equality for everyone. the right to speech, expression, belief etc.
question: when was the last time you were told to leave a store because you were making people feel uncomfortable?
i have my answer
Great, but your morality has nothing to do with this, considering that marriage equality isn't immoral.

I'm sorry my (personally) morality is not dictated to me by a dictionary.

Tech,
the first book to use the word marriage in any language is the Bible. So go get a six grade English King James Bible and look at all the verse where marriage is used and via the context you will have the definition of marriage.
Sociomorphic dictionaries are ever changing by the men who are led by feeling and not by truth.

Then just ignore those who are acting like immature children about it. They are just the ones that make us look bad, we're not all flamboyant loafer-wearing, mesh-shirted screamers.
